Sentence Structure: Likes and Dislikes
_____ ga suki desu. _____ ga ski des. I (you, he, she, it, they, we) like _____.
_____ ga suki desu ka. _____ ga ski des ka. Do (you, etc.) like_____?
_____ ga suki jaa arimassen. _____ ga ski jaa a-ree-ma-sen. I (you,he, etc.) don't like _____.
_____ ga kirai desu. _____ ga kee-rai des. I (you he ,etc.) hate _____.

Dialouge: Likes and Dislikes
Hime-chan and Daichi-kun are talking.
 
Daichi: Hime-chan, okonomiyaki ga suki desu ka?
Himeko: Ee, toku ni Uukyou no okonmiyaki ga suki desu.
Daichi: Boku wa Uukyou no okonmiyaki ga kirai desu.
Himeko: Hontoo!!?
 
Translation: 
Daichi: Hime-chan,  do you like okonomiyaki? (japanese pizza)
Himeko: Yes, especially Uukyou's okonomiyaki.
Daichi: I hate Uukou's okonomiyaki.
Himeko: Really!!?
Daichi kun is a bit pessimistic, ne?

Sentence Structure: Using Adjectives 
You may want to give a reason for liking something, (or not liking it).
 
(noun) wa (adjective) desu.  The (noun) is (adjective).
ex. Neko wa umaii desu. The cat is delicious.

Dialouge: Using Adjectives
Ryouga and Ukyou are having lunch in the school cafetera. 
 
Ryouga: Ukyou, amerikan ryoori ga suki desu ka?
Ukyou: Hai, suki desu ne.
Ryouga: Aa, watshi mo...
Ukyou: Hambugaa wa totemo umaii desu ne.
Ryouga: Soo desu  ne.
 
Translation:
Ryouga: Uukyou, do  you like American food?
Ukyou: Yes, I do.
Ryouga: Aa,  me too.
Ukyou: Hamburgers are delicious aren't they?
Ryouga: Yes, they are.
They have so much in common... Has Ryouga-kun found a new crush? Let's hope  so... heh heh... ^_^
Dialouge: Using What You've Learned
Michiru and Haruka are inside the movie theater. 
 
Michiru: Haruka-chan, kono eega ga  suki  desu ka?
Haruka: Iie, suki jaa arimassen.
Michiru: Honto?! Naze desu ka?
Haruka: Kono eega wa totemo tsumaranai desu.
Michiru: Soo desu ne.
 
 Translation:
Michiru: Haruka-chan, do you like this movie?
Haruka: No, I don't like it.
Michiru: Really? Why?
Haruka: This movie is boring.
Michiru: Thats true.
Haruka and Michiru aren't impressed with the movie, I can't imagine why
