Who We Are And What We Do?
Because the Embassy has to cover an extremely broad range of subjects, it is divided up into different departments. Each knows what it has to do, and is staffed accordingly.At first sight, an outsider might find it difficult to work out what some of these departments do. That's because, for reasons of tradition (you can't get away from that in Verduria!), we continue to refer to them by the names we have used down the generations.
But don't let these quaint traditions deceive you. Like the world around us, the Foreign and Office has changed radically in recent years.
The Embassy is now a tightly run organisation which achieves clearly stated and ambitious objectives. If you don't believe us, please contact us. We'd be delighted to demonstrate that this proud claim is fact, not fairytale.
