The news said that no one can get in touch with her easily, even her
company, they had to fax to contact her. And she cancelled a lot of shows
and appointments lately.

She was first chosen to be the female main actress in the coming up (April
1st, 1996) TV series "Shung Hoi Tane" (ShangHai Coast). But due to
difficiulties in setting up time, Chan Chong Ling was used instead.

She had a concert in Melbourne,
Australia on the 22nd of March 1996.

She is currently (beginning of April 96)
filming a Shampoo commercial in Japan. She has been on commercials
or advertisements such as Canon computer printers, Sifone hair
shampoo. And for the seven days of the Canon's photograph taking advertisement,
she earned over a million HK dollars.

She is (end of April 96) in the progress
of producing her next CD album. In there, one fast and two slow sings are
written by herself. Later she will record her new Mandarin and Japanese songs.

She was a judge for Miss Photogenic and Miss Talented in the Miss Hong Kong
1996 Pre-Final Contest.

Vivian's 1996 New Music Album(熱敏) is scheduled to be in
the stores today (19 June, 96).

Finally there is a Vivian Chow International Fan Club meeting
in August 1996. Good news for her fans!

Vivian will be in the New World Center, TST, Kowloon from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
on 20 July, and 18 August 1996

So far, she has two MTVs from her latest album (熱敏): C'est la vie and 為你.

On August 10th, 1996, the Vivian Chow International Fan Club
celebrate their sixth year in the International Tradeshow Centre with
Vivian Chow. Because Vivian was still a little bit sick, her throat hurt,
her eyelid was infected, she only sang one song. At the end of the Fan
Club meeting, she answered all questions from the fans:

According to an interview by a Japanese magazine SAPIO
issued Nov.13, Vivian will release a new Japanese single
in February next year.
Vivian is going to have another fan club members meeting in Hong Kong
early next year (1997).

There has been a lot of news about Vivian getting back together with
this guy name Nai Jan (a son of a famous writer; Yes Magazine Company
share holder). Some newspaper reports claimed that they have seen Vivian
and Nai Jan in United State in an airport being very close like a
pair of lovers. Reporters have asked Vivian whether she has got back with
Nai Jan or not but her answer is always, "I have nothing to say.

Another report I read about is that Vivian said that she recently had some
problems with the Japanese boyfriend because he was pushing too hard on
her for a wedding.
* Vivian Chow in Planet Hollywood * | January 11, 1997, another big day for Vivian's fans as she met her fans the first time of year 1997 in Planet Hollywood in Hong Kong. She sang a song (Time) and played games with her fans. At the end, as usual, there was a prise draw. The biggest prise was one of the skirt she wore before. It's silver inside and a layer of black lace outside with a silver belt. Does anyone has a picture of her wearing this skirt before?
Vivian Chow fan club's 1997 First Newsletter has been mailed out
(Feburary 1997). There are information such as last year (1996)
August's Fan Club Meeting, last dinner meeting in Planet Hollywood,
new Fan Club logo and uniform (rose red Polo shirt and cap), and
a limited amount of Vivian's 8R wedding dress picture for purchase.
Pictures taken from the Planet Hollywood now can be ordered from
Fans Club (Room 902, 9/F, Multifield Plaza, 3-7A Prat Avenue,
Tsimshatsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong).

Feb. 22, 1997 | According to "Fid Yin" weekly magazine, Vivian has bought a new apartment at the same building as her mother's. Vivian and Joe Ngai come to this and another apartment often.

| Vivian is now in Japan(Feb.24th) for promoting her latest Japanese single titled 'Aini yukitaino(I wanna go to see you)' released in Feb.26th. Will appear on some TV and radio programmes during her stay in Japan.
According to the Polygram Japan, she will have concerts in April
in Tokyo and Osaka.
