WE'VE GATHERED HERE PHOTOS OF SALVAGED STRAY CATS AND OF NON PEDIGREED ONES.



THAILAND'S STREET CATS

Thailand has lots of street cats... However Thai people accepts easily animals in their surroundings as we witenessed in some of the islands. We could observe the street cats living their life with some help of the inhabitants.
Generally speaking there is no hostility towards these cats that seems to be respected. Maybe the Thai way of Buddhism is part of the explanation.

Here you will find some pictures we took from these not so distant cousins of the Singapore cats, the all Siamese street cats!

YOUNG FUTURE MOTHER


A young future mother... very sweet and affectionate

She hides in a ditch and surrounding vegetation.
She wanders around for food, near inhabited spots.
Prudent but not really shy!

A young mother and its 4 hyperactive kittens!


We found them in the open, not far from a tourist resort.
The mother, overboard by the imaginative skills of her offsprings, found an elegant and simple way to get some time for her own:
she brings them regularly at the doorstep of the foreign tourists, all enthusiastic to take care of the kittens and to let them stroll near the pool.

We could observe this a few evenings in a row, proof of a concept action...
