MISATO'S PET AND SHINJI'S OTHER ROOMMATE

Misato's pet and the other roommate of Shinji. Pen-Pen is an unusual new breed of tropical. or "Hot Water Spring" Penguin who lives in Misato's house in a specially made a cooler unit. Pen-Pen was part of an experimant at Misato's last place of work, but when the experiment was concluded, Misato decided to take him home with her. This cute little animal has been in numerous episodes already, providing comic relief and humour. Believe it or not, Pen-Pen has learned to eat curry and drink beer!
