Serena held tightly to Darien as his morotcycle flew along the nearly empty
backroads. He had just picked her up from school, and she was going to
spend the weekend at his place. Her parents knew, and accepted, the fact
that she was seriously dating someone. She had failed to mention his
record, but figured it wasn't important anyway. Like Molly said, love is
love.
Serena's parents had actually been delighted to hear she was dating a
university student. Although he didn't attend an Ivy League school, it was
still a good university. They had insisted on having a Sunday brunch with
the pair. Darien was a nervous wreck over meeting Serena's parents.
He had paled slightly when she told him, but insisted that he wasw okay.
Now, pressed tightly against him as he drove, Serena could feel the tension
in his muscles.
Serena sighed, and decided she would give Darien and nice massage when they
got back to his place, where ever that was. He had so much stress in his
life...
Darien turned the bike and pulled into an underground parking lot. He
parked the bike in a parking space near the elevator door and climbed off.
Turning, Darien offered Serena his hand and she got off the bike as well.
Darien pulled her duffled bag out of the side compartment on his bike while
Serena looked around with interest.
"Come on, Serena. It's more interesting when oyu get upstairs." Darien told
her, taking her arm and leading her towards the elevator. Serena blushed.
When they reached his apartment, Serena was absolutely fascinated. The large
apartment was elegantly, if sparcely decorated. The walls were bare except
for a single painting. There was a small black leather couch and an
expenzive looking stereo system.
Darien watched as Serena explored his apartment. She seemed thrilled with
the neatest little things about place. When she got to the balcony, she let
out a squeal of delight.
"Oh the view is splendid!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah, it is." Darien nodded, coming up beside her. He opened the french
door and Serena stepped out. She leaned against the iron railing and looked
down.
"Everyone looks so small... What floor is this again?" She asked.
"The eleventh." Darien replied.
"I love it, Darien!" Serena told him, a bright smile on her face.
"I'm glad." He smiled at her. "Are you tired, from school?"
"No." Serena shook her head, then looked concerned. "Are you?"
"No, I'm fine." Darien gently brushed her hair out of her face.
"Your so tense... Come inside." She told him, before stepping throught the
door. "Sit down."
Darien sat on the couch, curious as to what Serena was going to do. She got
on the couch next to him, but moved behind him. She began to rub and massage
his back, trying to relax his taunt muscles.
"Relax, Darien." Serena whispered in his ear as she continued to move her
hands over his back. Darien slowly felt the tension melting away. School
was getting harder for him, and he barely had time for anything but school
and his job. Even seeing Serena put strain on him, because it meant
neglecting his studies. He would never tell her though.
After a while, Darien reached back and caught Serena's hand. He pulled her
around to sit next to him.
"Thanks." he murmured in her ear. Serena just smiled and blushed slightly.
"Are you hungry?" Darien asked her. "Do you want something?"
"Only if you do." Serena replied.
"Okay." Darien stood up and hauled Serena to her feet. He led her to his
kitchen where he lifted her up to sit on his counter.
"What do you feel like?" He asked her as he began rummaging through his
fridge.
"I dunno." Serena replied. "What do you feel like?"
Darien laughed.
"Come on Serena, decide."
"I don't even know what you have." Serena told him. "Whatever you make will
be fine with me."
"Are you sure? What if my cooking is horrible?" He asked her.
"Nothing you make could be horrible." Serena replied sweetly. Darien
laughed again.
"Don't be so sure... What about pizza? It's nice, quick and easy."
"Sure."
Darien shut his fridge and opened his freezer. He pulled out a boxed,
vegetarian pizza and turned his oven on.
Serena watched him as he tore open the box and slid the frozen pizza onto
a tray. Frozen food was not something she experienced often, and she found
it quite exhilarating when she did encounter it.
When the buzzer sounded, Darien pulled the tray out and revealed a hot
sizzling pizza.
"Yummy!" Serena exclaimed. Darien cut the pizza up, and handed Serena a
plate.
"Be careful. It's hot." He warned her, but it was too late. Serena had
already burned her fingers. "Here, let me see those." Darien grabbed an
ice cube and began running it over Serena's burned fingers.
He was holding her hand gently in his own, and he marvelled at her tiny,
delicate hand, and at how trusting she was. He looked up and found himself
drowning in her gorgeous cerulean blue eyes.
The pain in Serena's fingers was forgotten as she met Darien's gaze. The
ice cube fell, forgotten, to the floor as they slowly moved closer. Darien's
lips met Serena's in a long, passionate kiss.
(You'll notice I seem to enjoy writing about them making out in a kitchen.
Hmm... I wonder where that came from... It's certainly odd.)

That night found Serena and Darien snuggled up in his bedroom watching tv.
Serena was half asleep, lying in Darien's arms, quite content to stay there.
Darien, was happy with her staying there forever.
Darien was thinking. He knew that by staying with Serena, he was practically
inviting those punks to jump him again, but there was something about Serena.
He couldn't resist her. The night they had met, he hadn't thought twice, or
even once for that matter, about asking her out. It had seemed natural,
almost second hand.
And now, here she was, lying in his bed, in his arms, fast asleep. She was
so trusting, and she had every reason to be. He didn't care what happened
to him, so long as they were together.
Sighing, Darien reached over and picked up the remote control and flicked the
tv off. Serena stirred slightly as the room grew silent, but settled down in
Darien's arms. Carefully, Darien lifted the blankets around them with one arm.
Serena sighed happily and Darien smiled down at her.
'She's so beautiful...' He thought. Running a hand through her hair and
playing with the silky ends.
"Darien..." Serena murmered in her sleep. Darien stroked her head gently and
leaned his against her's. He inhaled deeply, the scent of her shampoo
filling his nose. Sighing, Darien fell into a deeply peaceful sleep.

Again, short, but I'm sorry! I wrote from part five to here in one night ^_^
