And now –

		I can feel my heart ache…

			An empty void…

	I miss you.

	You had always filled me, helping me escape from this
utter loneliness that I was left into this world.

	But it's different now.

	You aren't here to save me.

	My parent's had died so long ago –

		But the memory of a princess waiting for me had
caused me to continue to live on.

	But I left my princess to wait for her real prince –

			While I am forced to live alone.

		Alone.

			Is that my destiny?

(Everything I Do) I Do It For You - Bryan Adams
Look into my eyes-you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart-search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dying' for
You know it's true
Everything I do-I do it for you

Look into my heart-you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am-take my life
I would give it all I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fighting' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do-I do it for you

There's no love-like your love
And no other-could give more love
There's nowhere-unless you're there
All the time-all the way
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you-I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you-Ya I'd die for you

Ya know it's true
Everything I do-I do it for you

	He couldn't concentrate.

	He couldn't…

	What had it been? A week? Two weeks?

	Had she replaced him already?

	His heart ached.

	He hoped not, he hoped she reminiscence awhile
longer, he hoped – he hoped –

	He hoped she never will get over him.

	But then, she would be alone, like her.

	Alone.

	She didn't deserve this punishment.

	Only he did.

	He deserved to be alone.

	To never have someone to care for him…

	He felt like crying.

	"Usa-ko…"

	How beautiful the name was. Did she let another call
her by that? The name he had given her as a sign of
complete love for the other as she had given him Mamo-
chan? Could the name get anymore personal than that
which he had called her?

	His head banged.

	His heartache.

	"I miss you…"

	The days had went by ever so slowly.

	The month passed by.

	The seasons began to change.

	It was winter.

	~~~
	Romantic.
	That was what winter had always been.
	A romantic season.
	She could help but feel as if the icy snow has finally
reached her heart.
	How romantic can it be when you had no one to sit
next to warm up with?  She shuddered, it was so cold…
she looked out the window.
	How was he doing?
	Was he in love with another yet?
	Or was he like her?  Still lingering upon the past that
had been broken.
	But still be able to become mended by a single phone
call.
	She sighed, clutching upon the stuff rabbit doll that
she had.
	Mamoru had bought her it the previous Christmas,
knowing how much she loved stuff bunnies.  "Usagi-chan!"
A voice called from the other side of the door, she had
walked towards it and opened it, and roses touched her
noses.  The arousing smell had caused her to shudder.
	A bang to her heart.
	Memories –
		Mamo-chan…
	"Don't you like?  Seiya said he was embarrass to give
this to you… so he told me to give it to you!!  (giggles)
Mamoru has already have some competition, if only Seiya
knew you were destined for another…" Minako's sweet
voice had told her as she stared at the roses mesmerized.
	'Destined for another…'
	She was suppose to be destined to Mamo-chan.
	But now that he had left her, whom was she destined
for?
	Seiya?
	No – he was just another 'Mamoru'… but not her
Mamo-chan.
	"Hai…" She softly whispered, taken the roses into
her room.  "So, Usagi-chan!  Has Mamoru written to you?
Sent you anything for Christmas?"
	Her throat restricted.  "Iie… he's been busy, and
Christmas is still a couple weeks away.  He told me that
he's busy, and that school has been hard, but knowing
Mamo-chan, he'll be fine."  She said, as Minako nodded
with a smile.
	It hurt.
	She had not heard from Mamoru since he had left her.
	She had asked Motoki if he heard from Mamoru, but
his response was similar to hers.
	He didn't.
	"Rei wants to know if you can come to the shrine…
she wants to come up with something to do during
Christmas weekend."  She didn't feel up to it, going would
only bring the others to ask question about Mamoru and
how was he doing.
	She didn't feel up to it.
	"Iie… maybe not today, I'm waiting for Mamoru's
call."
	She giggled profusely, "Okay Usagi, don't want to
keep you from your man."  She had waved and started
down the steps.  She watched her friend disappear, as she
clutched onto the bunny harder, as the dozen roses fell
from her arms and into the trash as she began to bundle up
to go out.
	~~~

	'Ice Prince.'

	That's what they had labeled him.

	He froze at the touch of a girl, quickly pushing them
off and saying, "I have a girlfriend back home."

	He never warmed up to anyone in the opposite
gender.

	He laid down on his bed, his eyes looking at the
picture of her.

	Beautiful.

	A goddess…

	And she was once his…

	Once…

	"I want to see you again…"

	If he was only to make an effort.

	~~~
	She put the key into the doorknob, opening it.  She
entered it, her eyes looked into the apartment.  Mamoru's
apartment…
	Mamo-chan's apartment…
	Her heart ached…
	"Mamo-chan…"
	She closed the door, walking around his apartment,
touching everything that she could put her hands on.  She
opened the balcony, and took in the roses he had left.
They were practically freezing… almost dead.
	She couldn't let that happen.
	She took a deep breath, as she placed the roses onto
the kitchen counter, hoping the heat isolated in the
apartment could warm it off.  She sighed, as she walked
into his bedroom, her heart going to an immediate stop.
	She could almost smell him in here…
	But maybe it was because his bedroom was the most
personal place of his.
	She walked in it, touching the clothes within his closet
that he didn't bring, rubbing the sweet scent of his cologne
onto her, as the exotic smell of roses and Mamo-chan filled
her lungs.  She crawled into his bed, clutching the blanket
around her so tightly as she tried to take him into her – or
at least his memory.
	Tears sprawled upon her eyes.
	They fell upon the pillow.
	'Mamo-chan…
		I…
			Can't…
				Live…
					Without…
			You…'
