She slipped away, running out as her heart began to
tear…

		Minako and Mamoru…

	Her heart began to ache, her eyes began to water…

	She quickened her pace.

		She couldn't help but feel bent.

	~~~
(Bent - Matchbox 20)
If I fall along the way
Pick me up and dust me off
If I get too tired to make it
Be my breath so I can walk
If I need some of your love again
Give me more than I can stand
When my smile gets old and faded
Wait around I'll smile again
Shouldn't be so complicated
Just hold me and then
Just hold me again
Chorus:
Can you help me I'm bent
I'm so scared that I'll never
Get put back together
Keep breaking me in
And this is how we will live
With you and me bent
If I couldn't sleep could you sleep
Could you paint me better off
Could you sympathize with my needs
I know you think I need a lot
I started out clean but I'm jaded
Just falling
Just breaking the skin
Chorus
Start bending me
It's never enough
'Til I feel all your pieces
Start bending me
Keep bending me until I'm completely broken in
Shouldn't be so complicated
Just touch me and then
Just touch me again
Chorus
Without understanding
Hell, I'll go there again
Can you help me I'm bent
I'm so scared that I'll never
Get put back together
Yeah, you're breaking me in
And this is how we will live
With you and me bent
	Just My Love
	Chapter 2
*Disclaimers* ::sigh:: For the umpteenth time, we don't own
Sailor Moon, maybe in our dreams, but otherwise we don't so
stop badgering us!!!!!!  Geez...
	~~~

	Minako was giddy at the news of someone taking a
liking of her best friend, 'A time for me to become a
matchmaker…' she thought profusely, grinning from ear to
ear. She slid into the booth tat her friends and her were
sharing, "Do you guys know why Usa-chan ran out light
that?"  She had asked.

	"She said she needed to do something for her mom and
left right away," Rei replied, as she swirled her straw
absentmindedly, a scheming expression was then upon her
face as she asked ever so sly but ever so 'I-gotta-know-or-you-
are-going-to-suffer' voice, "Who was that super hot guy you
were with?"

	Makoto's eyes perked up, as she began as she exclaimed,
"A hot guy? Where? Does he look like my old sempai?" She
asked, as her eyes darted between the blond girl and the raven
hair one with a demanding look upon her face.

	"Oh, well um.." Minako blushed. "You guys see that
blonde hair guy at the counter?"

	Four eyes stared at the apron wearing cutie with a smile
upon his face. Makoto fell instantly in love as Rei caught to
the point right away, Yea, so what about him? He's adorable
enough, but I wanna know about that dark haired guy you
were with!"

	Minako glared at her, "That HOT guy I was with is the
best friend of my crush, the blond guy…" Makoto sighed,
"So he's reserved… ohh well, he doesn't look a bit like my
old sempai." The other girls stared at her in a strange way.

        "Anyways," Rei butted in, pushing Makoto aside.
"What about that guy? Does he have a girlfriend?"

        Minako thought back to their conversation. *"You like
her don't you?" "Well no, I just met her and I was just
wondering about her..." She gave him a look that said "You
can't hide it from me." "Okay yes, I do like her," he
admitted in defeat.*

        "Yea, he's already taken," she replied.

	~~~
        Usagi walked home dejectedly.  After she saw the way
Mamoru looked at Minako, she felt as though someone
ripped her heart out of her chest and stomped all over it.  Of
course, why would he want someone like her anyways? She
was just a clumsy, stupid teenager, while he was a
sophisticated and intelligent college man.  It was only fair
that he chose a sophisticated girl like Minako.  She was
bright, beautiful, and things that Usagi could never be.
	She felt the tears begin to form again, just after she had
fought so hard to stop them from falling.  Out of the corner
of her eye, a glittery object caught her eye.  Usagi glanced up
and noticed the necklace she was gazing at the day before.
The chain was made out of silver and perched in the middle
was a gorgeous crystal gem.  It radiated a multitude of colors
as the light from the sun reflected off of it.  She put her
palms up against the window as she looked at it wistfully,
simply dreaming of how it would sparkle on her neck, and
how Mamoru would gaze at her with love in his eyes, telling
her how beautiful she was.
	'Baka Usagi.  Mamoru doesn't love you.  He doesn't
even like you.  He likes Minako,' her inner voice mocked.
	She winced as she came crashing back to reality.  Yet her
eyes continued to linger on the necklace, as though the
necklace was calling to her.
	~~~

	Mamoru left the arcade after the blonde haired girl went
to join her friends. His encounter with Usagi's friend left
him in a total daze, for he had never shared much of his
personal life with anyone, let alone a stranger. But ever
since Usagi entered his life, he hadn't been acting normal
lately.

	On instinct, Mamoru looked up and surprisingly found
himself before his blue-eyed angel. A sense of déjà vu
overcame him as he noticed that she was standing in front of
the jewelry shop and gazing at the same necklace she was
the day before. A slight smile tugged at his lips as he saw the
wistfulness in her eyes. But underneath the hope, Mamoru
sensed there was sadness, and the tears in her eyes proved him
right.

	"Hey Odango," he called out.

	Usagi turned around and her eyes immediately clouded
over.  "Mamoru-san," she replied curtly.

	"Hmm...no hello?" he asked playfully, despite the fact
that he was a little hurt by her harsh tone.

	"Hello, and good-bye," she stated. Usagi turned her
back on him and walked away, leaving Mamoru
dumbfounded.

	~~~
	The next morning Usagi went through her usual routine
and avoided getting a detention from Haruna-sensei.  She
managed to look like she was paying enough attention so that
Haruna-sensei wouldn't call on her, but her mind was
elsewhere.  Despite all her efforts, Usagi just couldn't shake
off her feelings towards Chiba Mamoru.  Sure he infuriated
her to no ends, but she knew deep inside that he had stolen
her heart.
	'Too bad he's already taken by your best friend,' the
voice taunted.
	Usagi couldn't take any more of this torture.  She
needed to clear her mind of him and the only thing that could
keep her occupied were video games.  Luckily for her school
had just ended.  She decided to head down to the arcade and
take her frustrations out on some youmas.
	~~~

	Amazingly, the arcade wasn't crowded, which meant that
she would get a chance to play the new Sailor V game. After
a few attempts, Usagi finally made it to the last level. Just
when she was about to dust the master, a fireball flew out
of nowhere and fried her, a large "YOU LOST" flashed on
the screen.

	You lost…

	Was it her or did so lose to a lot of things lately – more
than this simple game?

	"NOO!!" Usagi shrieked, pounding her fists on the
controller. She frantically searched her pockets for another
quarter, but to her dismay she had already used them all.
Usagi gave up and decided to spend the rest of her money
wisely on a milkshake.

	"Hey Usagi-chan," Motoki called out as she hopped
onto the stool. "How's it going?"

 	"Ohayo Motoki-nii-chan. Umm, everything's been okay
I guess.  Slow day huh?"

	"Oh just wait till 3:30, that's when all the little kids get
out of school. It'll be a zoo in here."

	"Oh. Well I guess I should be going, I don't want to
take up any more of your free time," she stated dejectedly.

	"Hold on there a minute Bunny." Motoki came around
the counter and took her hand. He led her over to a small
booth in the corner of the arcade away from the game
machines. "You know that I'll always have time for you.
Now tell me, what's bugging you?"

	Usagi's eyes widened, but she shouldn't have been
surprised. Ever since she had known Motoki, he had always
known when she was feeling down.

	"Oh Motoki-chan, it's about a guy," she whispered,
afraid that the entire world might find out about her feelings
towards Mamoru.

	"Nani!?" Surprise was etched all over Motoki's features.
He knew one day Usagi would come to him with boy
troubles, he just didn't think it would be this
soon. But maybe it was because he hadn't open his eyes wide
enough for the past few weeks, that he failed to realize his
imouto-chan was blossoming into a beautiful young lady.

	"He had better be treating you well or I'll have to pound
him to the ground!" Motoki exclaimed as his overprotective
nature emerged. He was surprise how it would emerge from
him when he thought of someone hurting Usagi, but he
always never let it come out on his real sister and her many
boyfriends. But he always knew that she could take care of
things, while Usagi was different. She was a frail girl that he
couldn't help but want to protect… she was so naïve and
innocent -

	"Umm.." Usagi blushed at his outburst. "You don't
have to worry Toki-chan, he doesn't even know how I feel.
As a matter of fact, he likes someone else," she choked as
tears began to crystallize. "Maybe if I was a little smarter, or
maybe just a little more prettier, he'd like me.."

	"Oh Usa-chan," Motoki replied softly. His heart went
out to her for he too knew how it was to have an unrequited
love. He got up and sat next to her, pulling her into his arms
as she sobbed into his shirt. "Oh Bunny, any guy who
doesn't appreciate you for who you are isn't worth any of
your time. Someday, you'll find the perfect guy, I promise
you," he murmured, as he softly stroked her hair and rocked
her gently back and forth.

	She cried so freely in his arms.

	The glass door opened.

	The figure stared in horror.

	And that was how Mamoru found the girl of his dream
and his best friend…

	Together in each other arms.

	~~~
	LOL, nice ending ne?  Ok, this time all flames may be
sent my way, since Usa-chan got them last time for Silver
Linning, but that doesn't mean you guys can't send me any
nice e-mails either.  Also, I'm sorry for the delay, but now
that I have a lot more free time on my hands, the chapters
should be coming out at a quicker pace.. ::ahem:: depending
on how many e-mails we get ne Usa-chan?
>=o)
much love,
Chi Chi
	Hmm… emails are wonderful… Yepyep!!  Well, you
know me and Chi Chi always work super slow… it's apart of
hopefully you'll encourage us to write the next chapter
quicker! *eternal angel
