This is my revision of Usagi and Mamoru:The After Math Chapter One. I split it
into a
part A and a part B and clarified some more important things. I also fixed all
my spelling
errors etcetra etcetra. There ARE some MAJOR changes(i added more dialouge),
just a
major revision. I wanted to do it so I did. Ok here goes nothin’-

All Usagi’s problems didn’t start until that fatefull morning. Her mother was
downstairs, unusally cheery, as well as her father and Shingo didn’t tease her
at all, not
even once! They all sat at the breakfast table eating breakfast when a whirl
wind Usagi
came down the stairs.
“No time to eat Mom, Dad, late for school!” Usagi said, shoving on her shoes and
flying out the door.
“But Usagi honey, it’s a holiday!” But Usagi was already out the door. It was
her
final year of highschool, and Usagi actually studied at night, which along with
Youma
attacks caused her to sleep later, but her grades did improve. The first passing
test she got
back, she immediatly sent to Mamoru. She wrote him quite a long letter about how
much
better she had been doing and he wrote back, very happy for his little Odango.
About an
hour later, a angry Odango cam back into the house pouting.
“Mom! Dad! Why didn’t you remind me today was the first day of Christmas break?
I
didn’t remember until I got all the way to schoo-”but she immedatly stopped
wailing when
she smelt food cooking. “Oh mom! You actually saved breakfast for me?!” Usagi
yelled
and ran into the kitchen. After happily scarfing down her food, her father
walked into the
kitchen, quite happy.
“Oh, Usagi... you’re home... Good, now I can tell you my good news and we can
get
your life on track!” He said and sat down in front of her.
“Huh? On track? But Daddy, my life IS on track! For once I am actually HAPPY and
I am actually making GOOD grades!” She said, a slight bit angry at her father
for thinking
otherwise.
“Well, it had gotten better, but I think the CROWD you’re around is a bad
influence
on you, dear...” Usagi looked at her father, more or less a bit shocked.
“You mean the girls and Mamo-chan?!”
“Particularly that Chiba-san!” Her father said, enunciating Mamoru’s name
roughly.
“Daddy! How can you say that?! I can not possibly see a bad influence set on me
by
them!”
“Well, for one, every time you ... what’s the word?”
“hang out, Daddy...” Usagi said coldly.
“Ah yes, hang out... every time you *hang out* ”He said making quotation marks
with his fingers. “.. as you say, with these girls, you always come home very
tired or hurt
in some manner! What do you do with these girls anyway that could possible have
such an
impact on you? And then Chiba-san, well I hate to say this, no matter what your
mother
and brother say...but I don’t think he is an appropriate young man for you to be
around,
Usagi...” He said seeming quite satisfied with himself.
“Daddy! How could you say that about the people I care about!?”
“That’s what family is for! You shouldn’t care for people whou influence you
badly!”
“And how are you going to get my life on track by taking them away?!” She said
raising her voice.
“Don’t raise your voice at me, young lady! I am your father and as long as you
live
under my roof you will obey by my rules! And since you aren’t listening to me, I
will skip
the lecture and get straight to the point. We are moving to America in two
weeks. You
will finish your last year of highschool there. Further more, I forbid you to
see that
Chiba-san!”
“You can’t!”
“I can and I will! I know boys at that age and all they think about is one
thing, Usagi,
and that is to take advantage of young girls such as yourself. He is too old for
you, and
what you and he DO, well that just isn’t legal. If I really hated him, I’d have
him arrested
for statutory rape!” He finished with a small smirk on his face.
“DADDY! Dang it! Are you instigating that I’m just some jezabel who flaunts my
body! Jeez, Daddy! I can’t believe you think I-ew! I am only 17 and I respect my
body and
so does Mamo-chan. He knows I want to wait until marriage, speaking of which
Daddy...
how is it that you forbid me to see your future son-in-law?”
“I’ll forbid the wedding!”
“I’ll elope!”
“You most certainly WILL NOT! I-”
“I will to! I will be 18 in six months. I will be legally old enough to marry
and FUCK
whoever I want!” She screamed venemently at her father. His face paled when
Usagi
cursed in front of him.
“You filthy mouth little...” he paused to think of a suitable word.
“Whore, Daddy?” She asked innocently. Her father looked at her raged.
“Ikuko! Come listen to the words spewing from our daughter’s filthy mouth.” He
called to his wife. He then turned back to Usagi. “See what an influence these
friends have
on you! The devil’s in you child and so help me God, I will forbid you to ever
set foot in
Tokyo again if it turns you back to the little girl I knew and loved!” Usagi
stood up
defiantly in her father’s presence.
“That’s just it, isn’t Daddy? You think of me as a little girl! Well I’m not! I
grew up
and in six months I will still be in Tokyo and married!” She turned and walked
to the door,
but right as she was about to leave she turned back. She faced her father and
mother, who
had just entered the room. “I could prove you right, Daddy. I could take my
savings and
fly to America right now and elope with Mamo-chan. Mama already signed the
papers, she
did incase you forbid us to get married.” Kenji turned and angrily faced his
wife. “And
don’t you dare take this out on her either, it is between YOU and ME! I could
prove you
right and go screw Mamo-chan’s brains out and be the whore you think me to be!”
She
yelled and her mother’s face paled as Usagi screamed. She took a deep breath and
continued. “But I won’t. I am a respectful daughter and I do obey my parents,
but you
have gone to far, Father. You cannot forbid me to marry Mamo-chan and you cannot
forbid me to see my friends. I will stay here in Tokyo, even if you DO move to
America. I
will finish highschool here in my home town and graduate with my friends.” She
turned to
face her mother. “Mama, I’m staying at Mina’s or one of the other girls. I’ll
come back to
get clothes later. Maybe then will your husband come to the realization that I
am not A
little girl! I’ll call later. Ja ne...” she said and walked out the door.
//Cherry Hill Temple//
“He forbid you to see us?” Rei asked a bit angry.
“Yes and I basically cussed him out. He didn’t want me to see you guys or
Mamo-chan. Ew! And he thinks I have sex with Mamo-chan too! I mean, yeah I want
to,
but we are both waiting until marriage. I know I’ll regret some of the things I
said later,
but right now I don’t care. I can’t believe he thinks I would leave all you
behind!” She said
and started crying.
“Oh, Usagi-chan... don’t cry... Hey, it will all work out! Don’t worry...”
Minako said
and hugged her friend tightly. The others chorused in and shared a big group
hug. After all
settling back to their original spots, Rei jumped up and got an idea.
“CHAD!!!!” Not five seconds later, the shaggy haired rocker came tripping into
the
room.
“Yeah, Pumpkin?” All the girls giggled at his term of endearment.
“You got any spare cash I can borrow?” Chad pulled out a bunch of loose change
from his pockets. Rei grabbed it and kissed him on the cheek. “Thanks sweetie.
See ya!”
She said and grabbed the girls and ran for the door. “Tell Grampa we’re going
shopping!”
She yelled and then they were gone.
“What I do for good sex, not to mention a great girlfriend!” he mumbled dreamily
and
went back to his work.

//Juuban Mall//

“So, Usagi-chan? Mamoru-san is coming back tommorrow?”
“Oh shoot! I completely forgot! Good thing you reminded me though, or Mamo-chan
wouldn’t have me to pick him up tommorrow!”
“So, got anything SPECIAL planned?” Makoto asked slyly.
“Yes, but not what you’re thinking Mako-chan. I’m going to his place and he’s
making me dinner.”
“AW! I wish Ken would be that romantic! Lately all he does is nag me about being
underage and drinking!” Makoto said.
“Well, you really shouldn’t, Mako-chan..”
“Not you too Usagi-chan!”
“FINE, just no drinking and driving MAKO!” Usagi and wagged a finger in her
face.
Mamoto smiled and nodded.
“At least you guys care for me...” she said and the continued down the street.
They
talked of several things, mostly graduation. After graduation, the senshi would
split their
separate ways to fulfill their dreams. Makoto was going to Europe to study to
become a
chef, and Rei was going on tour with Chad (who finally started a rock band) for
a year
before settling down as her new title of * Priestess of Cherry Hill Temple * !
Ami, who
had already skipped two grades before coming to Jubann High, had gotten and
advanced
diploma, and would soon be moving to Australia to studymarine biology and Mina
was,
well Mina didn’t know what she was going to do, but she definitely wanted to go
to Paris
and see their famous fashions. Maybe she would be a fashion designer. Usagi
wasn’t sure
what she wanted to be or when she should tell Mamoru about her moving for that
matter.
But the topic would come up sooner or later, and knowing her luck it would be
sooner.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

Mamoru was coming back over his winter break before his last college semester
to see his Usako. He made plans to cook Usagi a romantic dinner the night he got

back. Usagi felt an urge to tell Mamoru her bad news and wanted to ask him what
she
could do. Her father WAS a stern man and could force Usagi to move. She hated
the
thought of leaving her world behind, and decided to tell him at
dinner. When she got to thinking about it maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. * I mean
Mamoru is already in the States getting his doctorate, and Minnesota wasn’t that

far away from Mamo-chan’s college in Sacramento. It could be worse. I could be
moving to New York! * she thought and so she decided it would be for the best,
but what about after college? She brushed the thought from her mind, figuring
they would have time to settle it before Mamoru graduated.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

Mamoru walked through the terminal gates and looked around for his Usako. It
wasn’t long before he spotted the girl, curled up in a chair, sleeping
peacefully and waiting for his arrival. He walked over to her and sat down
beside her.
"Usako?" he whispered gingerly into her ear.
She stirred slightly and when she did, a golden heart shaped locket fell out
from under her pullover. Mamoru took precision in opening it, as not to wake
her. When he did he saw two pictures in it. The first was of himself, and he
smiled at the fact that his Usako still cared for him. The other, much to his
surprise, was of Chibi-Usa. Chibi-Usa was the little pink haired munchkin who
Usako
always fought with and teased, who later turned out to be his and Usako’s future

daughter. * I always new Usako liked her! * he thought and smiled blissfully,
then decided it was time to wake Usagi.
"Usako....baby?" he whispered again, his lips lightly caressing Usagi’s earlobe.

"Baby wake up..." he said and put his arms around the girl. She murmured
something about ‘eggs and bacon’ and ‘Luna’ giving her ‘five more minutes’.
He then told Usagi that if she didn’t wake up, he was going home. This got her
attention and she slowly blinked her eyes. She remembered where she was. * Okay
....I’m at the airport in Mamo-chan’s arms waiting for Mamo-chan.....* she
thought * wait....in Mamo-chan’s arms? * She looked up beside her and smiled
brightly as she threw her arms around his neck.
"Oh Mamo-chan! You’re home!!! I missed you so much!" she cried eagerly and
kissed him. He kissed her back like he had been wanting to since that fall when
he had left.
"Usako....I think we should go get my bags and then we’ll go get me unpacked and

then...."
"WE’LL EAT DINNER?!?" Usagi interrupted, thinking about how hungry she was.
Mamoru chuckled.
"Yes, Usako, we WILL eat dinner..." he said, helping the still slightly sleepy
gorl from her seat.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

"So, Usako? How have things been since I’ve been gone?" he asked, unlocking the
door to his apartment.
"Oh pretty good....hey Mamo-chan...um I think I’ll go home and put on something
nicer, anyway, I want what’s for dinner to be a surprise!" she said and giggled.
"Oh alright Usako, hurry back! I can’t stand going too long without you....do
you want me to drive you? It’s starting to snow!" he asked, walking towards the
door and handing Usagi her coat.

"No Mamo-chan, that’s okay, remember, I’m tough!!" she said, giving him a quick
peck on the cheek and running out the door.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

Usagi quickly changed at Mina’s where she had been staying since the incident
with her
father. Her mother had brought her some clothes and asked her to please come
home the
next night. Usagi said she would. She picked out a light blue spaghetti strap
dress, put on
her coat and was now on her way back to Mamoru’s. Even though it was cold
outside,
thinking of dinner made Usagi warm. It WAS freezing outside and snowing harder
than ever, and Usagi shivered as she walked numbly to his apartment. As the snow

landed on her warm body, it melted and soon she was slightly wet and shivering
even more. She finally came to his door, she didn’t even have to check the
number, because she had been there so many times before, her subconscious showed

her the way. She raised a trembling hand to the door and before she had time to
knock, she fainted.

Inside the apartment, Mamoru was cooking supper when he heard a faint thump
outside his door. He walked slowly to the doorway and peeked out the peephole.
He saw no one there and was about to put it off as his imagination, when he saw
a speck of golden hair. All his worst fears rushed to his mind as he opened the
door to find a tiny shivering Usagi outside in the hallway. He slowly picked her

up and moved her to the warm surroundings of his apartment. He laid her on the
couch. Her wrapped her warmly in some blankets and since she had stopped
shivering, he tried to wake her.
"Usako, baby? Wake up...." he whispered to her.
She didn’t move, so he tried once more. "Usako? Honey? Oh come on wake up!
Please Baby! Wake up for me!" He said louder, slightly shaking Usagi, but still
to no avail. Mamoru was now desperate. His fears returned and he checked
clumsily for a pulse. When he didn’t find one at her wrist, he put his index and

middle finger to her neck. Usagi had no pulse and her breathing had stopped.
Mamoru immediately began mouth to mouth. Between intervals he screamed for Usagi

to wake up. Mamoru was back to the ‘mouth’ part when Usagi moved and inhaled
deeply. This of course ended up in a quick kiss, until Mamoru realized how he
got here and scooped Usagi up in his arms.
"Oh Usako....you scared me so much!!! Are you o.k. Baby? Huh?" Mamoru asked
worriedly, trembling from his fear.
Usagi trembled too, but out of pure coldness rather than fear. She was freezing,

and although Mamoru’s embrace warmed her slightly, she still trembled immensely.

Her entire body was so cold it made Mamoru feel like he was hugging a popsicle.
She was still having trouble breathing and Mamoru feared she might have
hypothermia. Mamoru immediately got his one of his doctor’s books and opened it
and read out loud.
"....hypothermia....hypothermia...A ha! Hypothermia: Basic First Aid-"
~1. Move victim to a dry, warm place~ "Check" he said.
~2. Remove wet clothing and dry victim, if necessary.~ Mamoru looked at Usagi
as he read aloud and gulped. She nodded to him as he walked into his room and
got a dry over-shirt of his. He walked back out to Usagi and braced himself and
unwrapped her from the blankets. He slowly unzipped the dress and pulled it off
her, being careful not to look away from her face. He wrapped her in the shirt
and buttoned it up. Then he re-wrapped her in the blankets. "Check" he said
shakily. * How can I be a good doctor if I get so nervous? Maybe it’s just
because this is Usako.....Man she is so beautiful though...* he thought.
~3. Warm victim gradually by wrapping the person in warm blankets or clothing.~
"Check"
~4. If available, apply heat pads or other heat sources, but not directly to the

body.~ Mamoru smiled and chuckled slightly " *I’ll* take care of that in a
moment..."
~5. Give the victim warm liquids.~ Mamoru got up and walked to the kitchen.
A minute or two later, he brought back Usagi a large mug of hot chocolate.
"Check" he said again.
~6.Call an ambulance if breathing is slowed or stopped or if the pulse is slow
or irregular.~ "Skip that..." he said and read step 4 again, but worded it
slightly different. "If available, apply a loving boyfriend or other heat
sources...." he said and wrapped Usagi in his arms.
" You’re *Tough* Huh?!?" He said to the girl in his arms.
"Well, maybe not that tough..." she whispered hoarsely, then started to cough,
and flinched at the pain it caused by doing so. Mamoru smiled and then said she
didn’t have to talk, but she just needed to rest. She nodded and made an okay
sign, then sighed and snuggled into his embrace.
Mamoru then picked up the phone and dialed her number. Thankfully for Mamoru,
Usagi’s mother answered.
"Moshi Moshi? Tsukino residence, Ikuko speaking..." she answered.
" Hello, Mrs. Tsukino, this is Mamoru......" he said shakily into the phone.
"Oh Mamoru dear....you sound terrible...is something the matter?" she asked,
hearing the nervousness in his voice.
"Well, on the way over here, Usagi got extremely cold and has slight
hypothermia.....but no need to worry she is much better now, just very
weak....and I was wondering...well, er what I mean to say is with her being weak

and all......er....she doesn’t need to be moved around...and definitely doesn’t
need to be exposed to the cold again....and I wanted to know if it is okay with
you if she.....well....we are engaged and nothing would happen....could
she...um...er...well...could she stay here?" Mamoru finally managed to splutter
out the words, afraid Kenji would find out and kill him for sure.
"Of course, Mamoru dear....Usagi has MY permission to recuperate at your
apartment....I have the utmost trust and faith in you Mamoru, I know you love
her and will not let anything happen to her...and you are right, you two will be

getting married next year, so I believe she will be alright in your hands....by
the way, has Usako told you the news?"
"No ma’am, I just got back a few hours ago, and we haven’t had a chance to talk,

but I’ll ask her...Thank you, Mrs. Tsukino, for trusting me...."
"Call me mom, Mamoru, Your welcome... Good night!" she said warmly to him.
"Good night...." he gulped "..m-mom.." and said a word he hadn’t said in
years. Usagi was now asleep in his arms, and soon so was he.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

Usagi slowly awoke in Mamoru’s arms. She was feeling much better now and was
very warm, so she decided to stay in her spot for as long as possible before
telling Mamoru her news. Usagi snuggled deeper into her one and only’s embrace,
and was slowly falling asleep when...
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
Mamoru nearly knocked Usagi off the couch when he jumped up because he was
slightly startled that someone would knock so loudly at :::He checked his
watch:::: *12:00* at night. Mamoru motioned for Usagi to go back to sleep, and
by the time he made it to the door she almost was. He looked out the peephole
and turned pale as a sheet. When the loud knockings came again, Mamoru felt the
sooner he faced the man on the other side of the door the better. He opened the
door and in stormed the man.
"All right you cradle robber! Where is my daughter?!?!? I told her she was
too young for you!! Now what? Trying to get down her skirt before your even
married?!? I don’t care what she says, I know boys like you and you’ve
influenced her
terribly!! Now she’s a filthy mouthed little JEZABEL who gives away her body
before
marriage!!!! WELL Not if I have to say anything about it! If I get my way there
won’t
be a wedding....besides the fact that Usagi won’t be around to much longer to
get married!!!"
Kenji yelled at Mamoru, who just stood there calmly. Mamoru was
furious inside plus the fact he had know clue what Kenji meant when he said
Usagi wouldn’t be around much longer, but he had a way of keeping any emotions
in and appearing cool and collected on the outside. Kenji was about ready to rip

Mamoru apart when a small blond stepped in front of Mamoru and glared at her
father.
"Daddy! Mamoru was NOT trying to GET DOWN MY SKIRT!!!!!!! I TOLD YOU
WE DON’T HAVE SEX!!!!! If I’m filthy mouthed your filthy minded!!!! I have never
done ANYTHING to betray your trust before, what changes that now?” She screamed
at
her father. She felt Mamoru place a calming hand on her waist and she took a
deep breath.
“For your information, he saved me and without him, I would be a cold corpse
right
now! Is that what you wanted?!?” She said calmly and her blue eyes pierced her
father’s
guiltily. “I love Mamo-chan with all my heart, and we WILL get married, with or
without
your blessing....but I would prefer that my father respected my choice
and figured out that is daughter is growing up!!” Her father’s cold,
incoherehent gaze
remained, so Usagi continued. “ Mamoru is only three and a half years older than
me!
Your six years older than Mama and you two got married when Mama was 16!! I am
17
and will be eighteen this summer! Then I’ll go to college and I WILL get
married!!!” She
stopped yelling, took a calming breath and lowered her voice to a soft plea.
“Daddy...please...I love you but I am no longer your little girl anymore...I am
a young
woman now, and you will have to understand this...please... It would kill me not
to be
with Mamoru and know you hated the man I love...." Usagi said and started
crying.
" Please Daddy?!? For me?" she asked and looked questioningly into his eyes. All

that stared back was the same emotionless void.
"I’m sorry Usagi, but this is for your own good...." he said and started to pull

Usagi out the door, but she jerked back and walked over to Mamoru.
"No, father, I meant what I said earlier....we WILL get married, with or without

your blessing...I’m sorry for you, because you have just lost your daughter...."
She said,
holding back her tears. Kenji glared at Mamoru, then looked at her with the same
voidless
eyes, then walked away, and Usagi burst into tears. "Oh Mamo-chan! Why
can’t he understand?" she cried into his chest.
"It’s okay Usako, he’ll cool down...Come on you need to go back to sleep and
rest..." he said but then heard a slight grumbling noise. "...but first we’ll
tend to that!!!" he laughed and smiled as Usagi laid on the couch and he
reheated their dinner.
"Usako? What was your dad talking about? Something about you not being here?!?"
He called from the kitchen. Little did he know that this would set off the water

works.
"Oh Mamo-chan I don’t want to leave!" she cried. Mamoru walked slowly back in
the living room.
"What do you mean, baby?" he asked, wrapping his arms around her.
"Daddy got a job in the U.S. and we are moving there, but I can’t leave Tokyo,
and I definitely don’t want to live with daddy until he can accept us! I-I told
him I wasn’t
moving, but if I don’t...w-where will I stay? I can’t stay with the girl
forever!" she
cried. Mamoru cupped her face gently in his hands and wiped away her tears.
"Shhh Usako...there is a way..."
"Huh?" she asked, utterly confused.
"Well, you could, um move in...er...with me?" he whispered. He was so
chivalrous.
Trying, as always, to uphold the fact that she was 17 and he was 21, and that
well, well it
wasn’t LEGAL, and Mamoru of course made a point of that, but he new Usagi would
probably be better off at his place anyway than living with her dad.
"Really?" She asked and he nodded. She gave him of thank you smile and wrapped
her arms around him. "I love you Mamo-chan...." He sighed in relief, being
afraid that she
would turn him down.
"I love you too, Usako...now get some rest dinner’s almost done..." he said and
walked back to the kitchen. About two minutes later he came back out with two
steaming
plates of spaghetti. "For you, my meatball head..." he said setting the plates
down.
"Mamo-chan....I don’t really want to eat...." she said and yawned.
"Are you sure? Is there anything else you might be hungry for?" he asked,
questioning
her lack of appetite.
"Well, now that you mention it...." she mumbled.
"What?" he asked about to stand up.
"...you..." she said and smiled as she pulled Mamoru down to her and kissed him
deeply before eventually falling asleep once again in each his arms.

~*~**~***~****~*****~******~*******~******~*****~****~***~**~*~

About 1 AM, Mamoru’s phone rang. He eased out from under Usagi and walked to
the kitchen.
*Ring*
*Ring*
"All right! I’m coming!" he growled angrily and picked up the phone. "Hello?" he

answered groggily.
"Oh, Mamoru...this is Shingo.." Shingo’s voice was filled with fear and sadness.
