As Usagi and Rachel pulled up in front of Usagi's old house,
Rachel smiled brightly.
"You have a lovely house!"
"Thanks." Usagi replied as she pulled her key's out of the
car. Taking a deep breath, she opened her door. Rachel
followed her as they went to Usagi's front door. Usagi reached
her hand up to open the door, but changed her mind and knocked.
"Rach, they don't know about my past as Sailormoon." Usagi said
quickly, right before the door was opened.
"Usagi-chan!" Ikuko exclaimed, hugging her daughter tightly.
"Hi Mom." Usagi hugged her mother back.
"Come in! Please, come in!" Her mom ushered both Usagi and
Rachel into the house. "Kenji! Shingo! Usagi-chan is here!"
"Usagi-chan!" Shingo came flying down the stairs and hugged his
sister.
"Shingo-chan. Hello." Usagi hugged her brother back.
"Usagi-chan. It's good to see." Kenji said.
"This is Rachel. My friend, and fellow dancer." Usagi said.
"Hello." Rachel smiled. Usagi's family smiled at her.
"Perhaps we can go sit down and talk?" Usagi suggested.
"Yes, I think that would be a good idea." Kenji replied.
Ikuko led her family into the living room.
"Usagi, why? Why did you leave?"
"Mom, I'm so sorry..." Usagi replied, her eyes welling
with tears. "I.. It's a long story, and a story I should
have told you years ago. When I was fourteen..."
Usagi re-told the story to her family.
"That's why you left? To escape your destiny?" Her brother
asked.
"No, I left because... Because Endymion in this life
told me he doesn't love me anymore. I couldn't live here,
knowing I was so near him, yet so far away..." The tears
were falling freely down her cheeks. "I just couldn't!"
"Oh dearest..." Ikuko said, hugging her daughter. "It's okay.
Everything will be okay.."
"I don't know that it will be, Mom." Usagi sobbed.
"What do you mean?" Kenji asked.
"When I left, the youma stopped coming. Everything became
peaceful here." Usagi spoke softly. "It was necessary that
I be here for the proper course of action to occur. Does
that make sense?"
"So, because you left, it's like time stopped here?" Rachel
asked.
"Yes, and I don't know if I can set things right." Usagi
told them.
"Have you spoken to the others? The senshi?" Ikuko asked
gravely. Usagi's eyes widened.
"No!" She exclaimed. "No! They don't know where I was or that
I'm back!"
"Usagi, I beg to differ." Shingo said calmly.
"What do you mean?" Usagi asked.
"There are four senshi and one masked man heading this way."
