‘My dream.. A few days after Usagi-chan was born, I had this dream. There was this
beautiful lady in a long flowing gown. She told me her name was Queen Serenity.’
‘My mother!’ I gasped.
‘Yes, she said she was.’ I looked around at the others. Rei, Minako, Makoto and Ami
appeared quite surprised. Mamoru, Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru appeared looked intrigued.
Setsuna appeared perfectly calm. I wondered if anything could penetrate her calm exterior.
‘She told me who you really are, Usagi-chan. I learned all about Princess Serenity,
Prince Endymion and the Moon Kingdom. The lady told me I could never let on knowing or
tell anyone else, until the time was right. She also told me you a fighter for love and
justice. You’re life, important as it is, would be threatened and taken often, but as
Usagi-chan, you would be there every morning.’ She finished off.
Suddenly a loud scream pierced the air.
‘Minna-san!’ Luna cried, racing into the room, followed by Artemis.
‘A youma is on the rampage! Henshin yo!’ cried Artemis.
‘Hai!’ we agreed in unison.
‘Moon Eternal Make up!’
‘Mercury Crystal Power!’
‘Mars Crystal Power!’
‘Jupiter Crystal Power!’
‘Venus Crystal Power!’
‘Neptune Crystal Power!’
‘Uranus Crystal Power!’
‘Pluto Crystal Power!’
‘Saturn Crystal Power!’
‘MAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!’
Each scout transformed, landing in characteristic poses.
‘To the park!’ cried Luna. Sailor Pluto stopped.
‘Wait!’ she cried. She knew it was a death trap, for some of them. She knew she had
to change it. Uttering a quick prayer she said:
‘I sense danger fir Usagi. Mars, Tuxedo Mask! Stay here with her. Protect her. The rest
of us will go’. She only hoped she was saving them and not ensuring their death.
‘Hai!’ cried Mars, turning away from the others.
‘Hurry!’ cried Mercury, racing off. Mars lead Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask back into Usagi’s
house.
‘You should be safe here.’ Mars decided. Suddenly, out of no where a beam of dark energy hit
Mars, sending her flying through the window screaming.
‘Sailor Mars!; I called and started to go after her. Tuxedo Mask grabbed my arm.
‘No,’ he whispered.
‘So, we meet again Mamoru’ said the person who had blasted Mars. He stepped out of the shadows.
‘Motoki!’ gasped Mamoru, err, ummm… Tuxedo Mask.
‘Yes. Rei has paid for the harsh words she said, now you shall pay for taking Usagi from me!
DIE!!’ he screamed sending an electrical energy blast at Mamoru. It hit him.
‘NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ I cried as Mamoru was blasted through
the wall.
‘MAMO-CHAN!!’
‘Now you shall pat Usagi-chan!’ I turned to see Motoki charging at me with a sword. As it was
about to hit me, someone pushed me out of the way and took the blow. She screamed. I screamed.
My mother lay at my feet with Motoki’s sword implanted deeply in her chest.
‘Mother!’
‘Usagi-chan.. darling.. I love you Sayonara’
‘No Mother, no! don’t go, no!’ I turned to Motoki.
‘How could you hurt an innocent women?’ I asked him. ‘How?’
‘She sided with you. I have no guilt.’ He replied. ‘Now I shall kill you’. He produced a
ball of dark energy between his hands. As he prepare to throw it at me, I heard.
‘FIRE STORM!!!’ a rush of burning (obviously) fire hit Motoki, blasting him and destroying
his energy ball. I turned to see Mars collapse next to my mother.
‘Rei-chan!’ I cried running to her. ‘Are you alright?’
‘Probably not,’ she replied. ‘Are you?’
‘If you’re not, how could I possibly be?’ I asked her. She gently laughed.
‘Look out!’ someone cried.
‘Dead Scream!’
‘World Shaking!’
‘Deep Submerge!’
The combined attack hit Motoki, who had gotten up and prepared to send another beam at me.
The other Senshi had come back after destroying the youma. Sailor Jupiter had helped Tuxedo
Mask back in. Sailor Mercury was analyzing him.
‘He’ll be alright.’ She said.
‘What about Mars?’ I asked, concerned. Mercury came over and checked on her.
‘She’ll be alright as well, but I’m afraid your mother is dead.’ I began to cry.
‘She saved me’ I said.>
‘That’s right Serenity dear.’ Said a calm voice. I looked up to see my real mother.
‘Queen,’ Said Sailor Pluto, who knelt before her. Sailor Neptune, Sailor Saturn and Sailor
Uranus followed suit. My mother laughed and motioned for them to rise.
‘Princess Serenity, your mother died a noble death, but it wasn’t her tome to die. Use the
crystal to heal her. Senshi, she may need you help.’
‘Hai!’ they agreed. My mother disappeared as a reached for my crystal and wand.
‘MOON HEALING.. ESCALATION!’ The crystal began to glow and send sparkling energy to my mother.
It wasn’t working. I wasn’t strong enough.
‘Mercury Crystal Power!’
‘Mars Crystal Power!’
‘Jupiter Crystal Power!’
‘Venus Crystal Power!’
‘Pluto Crystal Power!’
‘Neptune Crystal Power!’
‘Uranus Crystal Power!’
‘Saturn Crystal Power!’
‘MOON HEALING ESCALATION!!!’
This time it worked. My mother was healed. I rushed to her and hugged her.
‘Mother’ I whispered.
‘What.. What happened?’ she asked.
‘Oh mother, thank you!’ she smiled at me. As I got up and went to Tuxedo Mask. Shingo walked in.
‘HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ he cried. ‘All the Sailor Senshi are here. Why is Motoki lying here?’ he
asked. We looked over at Motoki. His eyes opened and flashed black.
‘Venus! Love and beauty shock!’
‘Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!’
‘Jupiter Oak Evolution!’
The combined attack hit Motoki with no effect. He started towards Shingo.
‘No!’ I cried and ran to him knocking him over, protecting him from Motoki.
‘Gomen nasai’ whispered Saturn. She raised her glaive and called
‘Silence Glaive Surprise!’ the ribbons of death came flying out slicing Motoki to pieces. I
covered Shingo’s eyes. This was not somehing he should see. When it was over, Mars burned what
was left of Motoki, and I uncovered Shingo’s eyes.
‘Thanks Sailor Moon. You’re the greatest.’ I laughed at his enthusiasm. Would he say the same
thing if he knew it was me? Usagi?
‘We’d better do’ advised Mercury.
‘Hai!’ agreed Pluto.
‘First’ Shingo began. ‘Could I have your autographs?’
