Watching the scene in the shadows, was a figure with sapphire blue eyes. He gritted his teeth when he saw the boy with amber eyes hug the cherry blossom.
"She will be mine! I'll make sure of that." He growled. With that, he walked away. He was oblivious of the fact that someone was watching him from afar.
'Not if I can help it. I'll have to get those two together or my name isn't Setsuna Minaka!' Then she returned her attention to the couple and smiled to herself.
'Besides, those two are made for each other. Tomoyo is right. They will definitely make a kawaii couple!'

"Syaoran-kun, you're back!" Sakura cried as she hugged him tightly.
"Sakura... I can't breathe..."
"Hoe? Gomen!" Sakura blushed as she released Syaoran from her tight hug. She giggled slightly, watching Syaoran gasp for air.
'He's grown alot but he is still the same Syaoran-kun I know! He looks even more handsome.' Sakura blushed at her thought. She blushed an even more deeper red when she noticed Syaoran's gaze on her.
"Sakura? Daijobu desu ka? You look a little red." Syaoran asked with concern.
"Daijobu desu." She answered with her head lowered so Syaoran couldn't see her face. That's when she heard a low rumbling and looked up to see Syaoran blush with embarrassment.
"Syaoran-kun, are you hungry?" Sakura asked as she gave him her brightest smile.
"Hai. I haven't eaten anything since I left Hong Kong about 6 hours ago." Syaoran replied, scratching the back of his head. Sakura just giggled.
"Syaoran-kun, why not we go over there and get something to eat?"
"Sure." Then he felt Sakura take hold of his hand and drag him behind her towards a nearby cafe. They found a table and sat there. Syaoran picked up his menu and scanned through it for something to eat. Sakura did the same and Syaoran signaled for the waiter. The strangely familiar waiter made his way toward them.
"I'd like to order a-" Syaoran began but he was interrupted by a surprised Sakura.
"Onichan! I didn't know you worked here!"
"It's a part time job and who is this? Are you on a date or something?" Touya asked as he glared at Syaoran, even if he doesn't recognize him. Syaoran couldn't help but stifle his laughter.
"That's none of your business, Onichan." Sakura replied defiantly.
"Don't worry, Kinomoto-san. We're just here to shop." A voice came from behind the group.
Tomoyo stood there with a smiling Minaka behind her. Touya just shrugged and walked away.
"Konnichiwa Li-kun! Nice to have you back!" Tomoyo grinned and took a seat next to them. Syaoran greeted Tomoyo, and then he turned toward the black haired girl sitting next to Tomoyo.
"Long time no see, Syaoran." Minaka greeted with a sweet smile.
"H... How did you know my name? Do I know you?" Syaoran asked as he racked his brain to figure out who she was.
"You forgotten your own cousin? I'm Setsuna Minaka, remember?" She said with a sad expression. Minaka giggled when she saw the three surprised faces, gaping at her.
"M… Minaka? I haven't seen you since we were six years old! What are you doing here?"
"How come you never told us that you were his cousin?" Sakura and Tomoyo inquired loudly in unison.
"Ummm... Surprise?" Minaka replied with a sheepish grin.
"You were always the mysterious one, Minaka." Syaoran shook his head slowly as everyone raised an eyebrow at Minaka, who was now laughing nervously.
"What are you doing here in Japan anyway?" Syaoran repeated grimly.
"Errrr... To finish high school here?" Minaka answered, sinking into her seat to avoid the glances she was attracting.
'Actually I have another reason but I can't tell them yet.' Minaka thought. She remembered well when she received a call in China.
****************************
"Hello?"
"Hello, Minaka. It’s Eriol. I'm sure you know who I am." A voice on the other of the line said solemnly.
"Eriol? Of course I know who you are. After all, I am one of your descendants. Is there something wrong?" Minaka asked worried.
"Nothing is wrong. I just need you to do me a favor." Eriol asked very calmly.
"What would that be?"
"I want you to help my cute descendant get together with the Clow Mistress."
"You mean Syaoran? Of course I'll help! Anything to help my cousin!" Minaka said enthusiastically.
"But be careful, there's an evil force that will try to stop that. That's why I need you to go to Japan and wait for him there."
"Don't worry, I'll do my best to help."
"I know you will. Thank you."
"I'll leave for Japan as soon as possible then."
"Good luck. Goodbye."
"Goodbye!" Then Minaka carefully placed the receiver back.
***************************
She smiled at the thought and looked at the three teens in front of her, whom were chatting happily. Minaka listened to their conversations intently.
"I'm so happy I get to make the costumes for the play! They will look absolutely kawaii on Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo gushed with starry eyes. Everyone sweatdropped.
'I think I can use the play to get them together. I'll need help though.' Minaka thought, then she glanced at Tomoyo. 'And I know who can help.'
"Sakura-chan, do you mind if I can have a copy of the script?" Minaka asked trying not to look suspicious.
"Hai. What for?"
"No reason actually. I guess I'm just curious." Minaka just trailed off. Syaoran stared at his cousin, wondering what she was up to. Minaka felt his intense gaze boring through her and she decided to make a quick retreat.
"I got to get back to my apartment now. See you guys at school tomorrow! Ja!" Without waiting for them to reply, she ran off and was soon out of sight. Everyone just stared incredulously at her retreating form.
"I better get home too. Ja ne Sakura-chan, Li-kun!" Tomoyo winked at Syaoran and followed Minaka, leaving Sakura and Syaoran alone.
******************************
Tomoyo looked around for her friend who had left abruptly. She spotted the black haired girl trudging on the snow-covered ground.
"Minaka-chan! Matte!" Tomoyo called. Minaka heard her call and stopped to let Tomoyo catch up.
"Tomoyo-chan, do you need to talk to me?" Minaka asked.
"Hai. Are you hiding something?" Tomoyo replied as she walked together with Minaka.
"Guess I can't hide it from you, ne?" Minaka said with a grin. Minaka just whispered into Tomoyo's ear and Tomoyo just grinned and nodded in agreement.
"We'll get them together, right Tomoyo-chan?"
"Hai!" Tomoyo agreed and took out her video camera as they walked to one direction. The Kinomoto residence.
******************************
Sakura and Syaoran were in an uncomfortable silence after their friends left. Neither of them could utter a single word. Syaoran was the first to break the silence.
"Ummm... Sakura-chan, why not I walk you home?" He asked, feeling rather tense.
"Okay! Let's go!" Sakura brightened at the idea and grabbed her bag and together they walked out of the mall and onto the cold streets.
Once again they were silent, not knowing what to say to the other. Syaoran looked at Sakura and admired how lovely she looked with the tiny snowflakes floating in the air around her and some that landed softly on her long auburn hair. It brought out her emerald green eyes. He silently wished he had the courage to tell her how much he loves her, but his fear of rejection from her was all he could take.
Sakura hadn't felt so happy in a long time. When Syaoran left, she realized her feelings for him and she felt empty inside. She hoped she would tell him someday about her feelings for him but right now, she was content by just being near him.
Soon, Sakura's house came into view. Both of them stood in front of the house in silence for a while. They stared at other for sometime, oblivious that some passerby's were throwing glances them.
"Syaoran-kun, you're going to school tomorrow, ne?" Sakura questioned, hope shining in her emerald green eyes.
"Hai." Syaoran replied quietly. To his surprise, Sakura leaned forward and gave him a peck on the cheek before she ran to the door.
"See you tomorrow Syaoran-kun!" She said before she closed the door. Syaoran stood there for a moment, a hand on his cheek with a shocked expression on his face. Slowly he smiled and walked away with higher spirits.
*****************************
Sakura skipped happily past the kitchen door. Her father smiled at her.
'She's in a good mood today. I wonder what happened? Well at least, her normal cheerful self is back.' He thought. "Welcome home, Sakura-san!" Fujitaka greeted.
"Konnichiwa Otousan!" She called as she climbed the steps to her room while humming to herself. She flung her bedroom door open and hopped onto her bed. She sighed happily and found a curious Kero-chan with his head popping out of a drawer, staring at her.
"Konnichiwa, Kero-chan!" Sakura greeted with grin on her face.
"Okay... What happened?" Kero asked, raising an eyebrow at the very happy cardcaptor.
"Syaoran is back!" She cried happily and she grabbed Kero and hugged him tightly.
"NANI?! The Chinese gaki is back?! Just my luck." Kero groaned but his thoughts were different. Deep down inside, even if he doesn't like Syaoran, he was cheering and celebrating at the thought of having his mistress back to her happy self again.
****************************
Outside...
Hidden behind some snowy white bushes, were two girls grinning from ear to ear, obviously very happy with what they saw.
"That was so kawaii desu wa! And I got all on tape!" Tomoyo squealed.
"Hai Tomoyo-chan! Absolutely kawaii!" Minaka joined then she stopped and turned Tomoyo.
"Now can we get out of here to some place warm... I'm freezing!" Minaka suggested as her teeth started chattering when the icy cold wind blew.
"Yeah, let's go home!" Tomoyo agreed and began walking quickly down the sidewalk.
"Tomoyo-chan! Wait for me! You're going too fast!"

Alright... That was really long… and it didn't come out very well. ^^" My ideas are bad. Anyway please review this because I don't know whether I should continue. (And I really need to know! ^^*) Thanks!
