Started in June 2002, C.M.E is a solo electronic punk sound with a message. Its non-conformist style reflects his interest in a wide range of electronic genres from Drum N Bass, Digital Hardcore, Detroit Techno to Breaks.

From his involvement in the punk metal music scene as a youth in the early 90s, C.M.E. adopted much of the DIY attitude and was very influenced by both the hardcore/punk and electronic sounds then. He had his first electronic band with some friends and became the main lyricist. Around 1993, he released 2 punk fanzines ( VENGEANCE and A&E ). It wasn't long that he ventured again and kick-started a local electronic dance fanzine Urban Blaze in 1998. Most recently, he published an online Digital hardcore/Electronic Noise fanzine Tokyo Tribe 02216 with folks from Restart Violence label (http://www.dcfe.org).

The idea of making his own music was a natural progression after years of intense exposure. Upon reflection of his music-making he has this to share, I got myself familiar with some music software like Fruity Loop and Acid, then began toying around with my PC and samples ripped from the net, with tones of advice from kind friends. Basically I just hope that it sounds good to the listener. As I have too many musical influences, I have plans to release stuff under different moniker to better reflect each and every genre that influenced my life and music.

C.M.E’s first song Stop Profit Killing was inspired by the statement of the Earth Liberation Front website and was produced with the help of the talented Techbreaker (http://www.mp3.com/techbreaker). For his next track, incorporating vocals from a local Hardcore band will be in the pipeline. He is also scouting for other musicians to collaborate to work on releasing a five-track CD.
