The computer that this was installed on does not show any problems caused by the virus. It was only recognised by a virus scanner. This is an old virus so almost any virus scaner will detect it. If you think your computer may have this virus simply run any recent virus scanner to detect it. P.TOM apologises for any problems this may cause.

This virus is thought to be stored in the boot sector or your HD (hard disk). The only reason I found the virus is because windows showed a warning message at the startup saying that the computer may have a virus. Like I said before, the virus does not cause any major problems (on my computer).

My computer is a Cyrix MII 686, 333Mhz, 32MB ram, 2.5GB HD, Win98, FAT32 file system. The virus should not cause any problems on similar systems.
