Hanover's forums: where the action is

The most enjoyable aspect of micronationalism is engaging your fellow citizens in conversation and debate as you participate in the national discussion. The Forums enable Hanoverian citizens and visitors to the Kingdom to communicate with one another regarding matters of state, politics and national culture.

Ellicott Square is where citizens and visitors alike congregate to discuss and debate Hanoverian politics, issues and current events. Opinions are expressed freely and vigourously in the square, so be sure to brush-up on your debating technique, if necessary. Be warned: while we encourage our citizens to be on their best behaviour here, we cannot guarantee it.

The Throne Room is, as the name implies, a forum reserved for the pronouncements and utterances of His Majesty the King. In typical monarchial fashion, this forum features a one-sided discussion: he speaketh, we listeneth...and then we mimick his funny accent when he leaves. The Throne Room is a place for serious royal business, so don't go fooling around in there. Marchmain Palace still has a dungeon and according to rumour, it's not empty!

Hangover is the capital district's most popular night spot boasting the raunchiest happy hour in town. Located just a stone's throw from the palace, Hangover is the bar of choice for royals, ambassadors, palaceites, pages, poets, priests and politicians. Hangover is a casual forum where fun is the name of the game and business is not allowed. Be sure to check your briefcase (and your attitude) at the door.

Common Grounds prides itself on being the only coffee bar in the northwest district of the capital which hasn't been put out of business by Starbucks. Catering to a more socially-aware clientele, Common Grounds is a place where micronationalists from around the globe can have a cup-a-joe and discuss macronational politics, history, literature, philosophy and current events. Come on in, order your mocha grande (park it) and join in the intellectual love-fest that is Common Grounds.

A debate at the Ellicott Square Society These are only a few of the many forums to choose from, many of which pertain to government and politics. Be sure to keep an eye on the Marchmain Palace forums; you never know what type of trouble those hedonistic royals might be getting themselves into. The politics and government forums will keep you up-to-date and in the loop as to the political happenings of the Kingdom.
