Well, I didn't play any games today, but I saw a whole lot. All I have to say is that the GameCube is far better then I could have ever imagined. Nintendo was the clear leader this year and this was mostly due to the GameCube. The games I watched being played, yes PLAYED, were Luigi's Mansion, WaveRace, Eternal Darkness, Smash Brothers, Kameo, Rouge Leader, Dinosaur Planet and others. All I have to say it that I was VERY impressed with the graphics capabilities. And Everyone I talked with said the games were very playable with the controller and that the controller was very comfortable. I will find out for myself tomorrow. Since I spent today picking up freebies and taking pictures, I didn't play any games. I will write about anything I see over the next two days. Oh yea, Panasonic showed off the prototype of their GameCube compatable DVD player. It was a cool looking silver metal GameCube with a DVD tray and a small LCD screen on the top. This was something I really didn't expect. The last I read the Matsushita GameCube that could play DVD movies was not going to be released outside of Japan by Panasonic. I guess they changed their mind. Cool.
