Project Rockstar is an online game where you can create and control a band of which type of music you want (THIS IS NOT A REAL BAND, ONLY IMAGINARY!). Once you have chosen the type of music you want your band to play, you need to hire members to be in your band. There are many people to chose from starting from roughly a couple of hundred up to a couple of hundred thousand! Its best to start of with cheap members and work up to more expensive/better ones. Now you have your band.
The next step is to tell your band what to do, you can either:
Gig
Practice
Write Songs
Promote
The best thing that I advise you do when just starting a new band is to write a song, this came take up to 3days to do but it gets the cash rolling in after every release of a song it is best to do some form of promoting. When you have about 5 songs you should then think about gigging go for places that have names that related to your band type, same with recording studios e.g for a rock band use Plectrum House.
Once you have released a song the next day your news icon should be flashing to tell you how well your song is doing compared to the other managers on PR.
If you have any problems then you should click on the forum icon where you will see a list of different forums you can use: e.g. Chat Central (where you can chat about NON-PR stuff), Rockstar General (ONLY Rockstar chat), Rockstar Help (ONLY things you need help with NO off topic chat here...) and an announcment forum, you can't post here but it will tell you IMPORTANT things going on in the game e.g. changes and interesting things. PLEASE READ THESE!!!!
Before posting a message in 'Rockstar Help' you should check the help manuel in the top right hand of the screen. The chat rooms are monitered by the lovely admins, so any rude or misbehaving acts you will be punished for...
If another manager asks a qusetion that you know the answer for then by all means post the answer, if your respones is correct then one of the admins COULD award you a starpoint. If you get ten star points then in the forum area you will get a nice shiny star next to your name to tell people that you are to be trusted in the advice you give.
DON'T THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A STAR YOU CAN DO AS YOU LIKE DON'T STARS CAN EASILY GO AS THEY CAME!
