Shortly after returning from Bosnia, I spent two weeks at Fort Irwin, Calif., working on an Army newspaper for the troops undergoing desert warfare training there. Then I spent almost three weeks in El Salvador covering the Reserve soldiers and Marines taking part in Nuevos Horizontes 2000. |
