I have a problem that I hope you can help me with. I am a 45 year old man who has discovered that the older I get the more I start spreading gossip. Please help me, I think it's great fun but I am losing all my friends.

TOMS ANSWER:
You have been hit by a disease that is quite common and is without any known cure. It is called rumourtism. It's not that dangerous although it does have some rather unpleasant side-effects as you have so rightly pointed out. It usually passes of its own accord as when all your friends are gone there is noone left to spread gossip to. So cheer up.

When I was young my parents used to say to me that if I touched myself I would go blind, stop growing and be unintelligent for the rest of my life. I did it anyway.
