On the 7th of September, 1966, my dear mother, a ravishing 23 year old beauty decided to offload the treasure she had been carrying for almost nine months within her divine womb. This child of astounding beauty and resounding intelligence grew up, despite the handicap of a London upbringing, to be an adult of standing, pride, sensitivity and happiness.
That was my brother David, he is now living in Wellington New Zealand and working as a lawyer. I am a year and a half older than he is, I am far uglier, far more stupid, living in Sweden and definately not a lawyer!
I live alone in a flat, south of Stockholm in the ghetto area of a town called Södertälje. I have two sons, Joel, born in October 1996, and Oliver born in February 2001. They are the most important things in my life and it is our tragedy that the contact between us all at the minute is limited. This has lead to a growing interest in me for childrens rights issues, something that I am seriously involving myself with today.
I used to be passionate about a lot of things, now I am on the right side of 30 I have become healthily cynical. I believe, however vehemently in the non-existence of art and any form of ultimate truth. I have strong and, according to many of my friends, extremely radical opinions in far more subjects than I know anything about. Go to The Ranting Pages to find out where I stand on these issues. I am an egocentric, reasonably nice bloke with quite a few interests, some form of a sense of humour and amazingly a couple of friends. I have a linguistic background, although I have given up my studies, right now I am spending my time working and writing.
