The Team race at Pinewood saw the Tomachers - Steve and Neil Tozer - win by 7 laps from the Dollymachers - Brian and Jamie Galpin.  This was Neil and Steve's second win in a row, but the championship went to Brian and Jamie who won two earlier rounds

2003 looks set to be an even more exciting year for the Club!

After running a highly successful 24th Scale “British Open Championship” meeting in December the Club is now set to be part of this years all new YTK03 Championship with 2 rounds taking place at the Raceway during the course of the year along with another round of the 24th BOC during the Autumn. We are very pleased to be forming an alliance with the 2 other 24th Scale Raceways in the South of England namely Pinewood Raceway and Raceway UK, all three clubs being affiliated to the British Slotcar Racing Association.

NEW! for this year to replace last years Club Saloon Championship is Formula SPN. This “New” class is designed to provide a lower cost alternative to the more technically advanced Club Sports Championship.  Initially we ran this every third week during the course of the Club racing calendar, since the Summer we have been running this class every 4th Wednesday. It is provideing very close fun racing, which will be easily accessible to beginners and provide an exiting alternative race class.

The club stocks the chosen one make of “Pickup Truck Body”  as well as them being available through any Parma dealer.

Also throughout this year the club will be running a 32nd Scale Production Sports Championship. Initially this championship was run once a month on Wednesday nights, but it has proved so poular that we now run  once a fortnight on Wednesday nights.

This year we will be moving some Sunday race nights to other evenings to accommodate the major Sunday race days needed for the YTK and BOC Championships.  In the Summer, the club membership expressed a preferance for moving the race nights to Wednesday.  We are a club that listens to it's members - so Wednesday is now race night!

2003 is certainly turning out to be another successful year for the Club and wish to thank everyone that helped to make the first year of operation so enjoyable.
