The Track

The track and all ancillaries i.e. race control computer, monitors etc will be available for sale and anyone interested please contact me (click here for details).

Above is the view from one corner of the track room. The track has 6 lanes (red, green, white, blue, yellow, black). The direction of travel is out from under the bridge, right to left round the large radius bend in the foreground.  The drivers stand at floor level, the controller sockets can be seen along the left of this picture, with the start on the straight on the left.  Race control is at the back of this picture.  To the right of race control is some of the pit space, there is more pit space through the doorway next to race control.

 Track plan

Looking down on the other end of the start straight. The most challenging section to drive is esses (middle of the picture) followed by the big radius bend over the bridge which then tightens up (at upper left of the picture).    The braids are well recessed, and the ground clearance rule should ensure it stays in  excellent condition.   Click here for more track details

Track polarity is to current BSCRA standards (see picture)

(a bit of history)..... Above is the view of the track from race control taken earlier this year shortly after delivery when a lot of work was in progress. Shortly after this was taken the barriers were repainted (see above). .This pictures are made up from several photos joined together to give an overall view of the track (if you look closely you can probably spot the joins - yes they are bad joins between my photos and not problems with the track!).
