Tomball pounded out 14 hits in route to a 13-2 ten-run rule victory over Conroe Tuesday night. Nine different Cougar's collected hits, with Trae Williams getting three. Beau Adams had a big night, going 2-4 with a HR and 3 RBI. Carson Kainer was also 2-4 and just missed a homerun in the first inning. Dustin Rasco, who was called up from the JV last week, collected his first Varsity hit, going 2-3. Doug Frame got the win, going 4 tough innings, striking out 7 and walking 5 while allowing 1 earned run. Blake Rampy pitched the final 2, striking out 4 of the 8 batters he faced. Tomball improves to 18-4 on the year, and 10-1 in 15-5A. The Coog's will host Klein Forest Friday night in the last home game of the year, which will also be Senior Night.
