One day, during my Freshman year of college (this year, 2002) I thought to myself "Shit, it'd be cool to fuck around with one of those NBA Simulators again!"  Steve, Mark Bausemer, Tim Crow, and I, who happen to be the only remaining RBA GMs that we're in contact with, have all lost or broken our copies of REPLAY.  So I did a Yahoo search and found a SIM called "UBA PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL SIMULATOR".  It is actually more technologically advanced than REPLAY.  Not to mention they enter in the new stats for you (we had to update REPLAY manually!!!!!).
I suggested to Mark that we should run a league.  He concurred.  During his hiatus from the Fantasy Leagues Steve has distanced himself from the game of basketball (As a Nuggets fan during 90s, can you blame him?).  We asked Steve A) If he'd like to run the league, seeing that he is and always will be "The commish".  and B)If he'd like to participate if Mark and I ran a league.
We knew that SOME people from Andover like basketball and/or are competetive enough to give it a shot.  Unfortunatly, in my predominantly sober state I now actually try to do well in school.  That takes much time away from what I could be doing in the leagues.  So unlike my predeccesors Woods, Binoya, and Riffel, the
I will not run the ABL during the skool year.  Sowwy.  Anyways, now that you can see where we fit into on a historical scale, we can focus on the present.  UBA has been around for a few years now without my noticing.  There are other people that compete in these leagues.  Some SIM leagues fail, others last for six seasons or more.  We'll see what kind of interest this one gets and how fun it is.

I recently talked to Steve, and he was able to find some old RBA documents.  Since REPLAY is broken, we can not see who was on our rosters.  But ABL GMs Mark Bausemer, Tim Crow, Eric Jenike, Matt Rosenthal and Steve Riffel were all in these leagues, so it might be fun to see how we performed in our past league experiences.  Here goes nothing,
THE REMAINING ARCHIVED RBA INFORMATION.  Everything else has been lost or destroyed.  At least Tim &  Mark should find this interesting.
Is Karl Malone the greatest player in RBA history?
The RBA logo was designed by Edgar Binoya

See a list of all the players who made the all-star team in the RBA.  It's so old school already that it's kind of funny!
You won't believe some of these names.  Look at the list of free agents from RBA6. Remember, it was a SIM, we're not retarded!.
The Boston Celtics were also nasty in the RBA.
