I raise my fist to you! Hell man, you got the Black Flag essence in you. That's a good thing. I knew when I saw 0:00/0:56 that I'd like this much more than the poppish fodder I've been exposed to so far. Alright! Reviewed by: cannonspike from Knoxville, Tennessee |
This is a small collection of song reviews we've gathered from Gargeband.com. (By the way, we didn't correct spelling mistakes). I recently added a new review for the song "Homies" that I felt should be on our site. So check that stuff out. Again, these songs were reviewed on Garageband.com. |

hilarious i never expected to find something this entertaining on this web site. i mean, the production isn't all that great, the melodic vocals are a bit off key here and there, but you can't deny that the lyrics are hilarious. i laughed so much i even coughed up a little bit of soda. i have no idea who on this green earth you guys sound like, but thats a good thing. please continue to make such uplifting music. and thanks again. GENIUS
I've been reviewing for over an hour now and this is by far the best song I've heard. I've had it on repeat for the last 20 minutes and was relunctant to write this review and move on. I absolutely love it, the vocals are just so well suited and at first i thought they would be too monotonous but they just sound better every time. I love the talking bit before the guitar solo. And I also love the guitar solo! It's so simple but so effective and the song is also very well produced the sound of the guitar is just perfect. The bass is also great and fits very well. The ending is genius. pure genius! yeah, absolutely love it, will look back at this. Reviewed by: RosieJones from Unspecified |

Very catchy hook - simple, funny, and original! Yay!!!
Finally, something original and actually funny in the comedy genre! These guys are great. The song is very catchy, and the simple lyrics are spot-on. It's very well produced as a lo-fi catchy song. The acoustic has a great little folky tone to it. Lead vocals aren't pitch perfect, but they don't mean to be - the little spoken attitude words (David Byrne?) are just right. The background singer (way in the background) adds just enough accent to keep it interesting without being too cheesy. This is a great satire piece that shows how little else matters in a song if there's a great hook. It's also really funny as a parody on how little thought goes into the lyrics of a lot of songs. Plus it's subtle enough to be funny - it doesn't force the humor down your throat like so many songs in this genre do. And it's all played completely straight, exactly the way it needs to, with confident vocals that don't for a second indicate that the singer is in on the joke. Absolutely great comedy. If I had to say something negative, it would be that at times the singers start to veer into silly voices, which really isn't necessary. But they don't overdo it so it's ok. The length of the song is also just perfect to make the joke without being tiresome. That chorus is probably the catchiest thing I've ever heard on garageband. These guys could be the next Monty Python. Excellent work. Reviewed by: sgreviews from New York |
