Hinato cried out in horror as Hikaru's sword  swung  in an arc. The cold steel made a clean, sweeping motion, fatally slicing into Shiro's back. Hinato  ran to the felled Shiro. She looked at him for a moment, laying there motionless on the grass. Her sword flew from the scabbard at her hip and, wild with anger , she jabbed at Hikaru. The sword pirced his chest. He looked at her in asstonishment and he fell to the ground at her feet. Regret and remorse washed through Hinato , " I'm sorry, Hikaru...". She lingered another moment, looking at Hikaru, then ran to Shiro. She collapsed, sobbing,  onto his chest.  It had all been a misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that had cost the lives of the two men she loved the most. She had killed Hikaru with her own hand. In a fit of rage, she had killed him. But he had taken the life of Shiro; she couldn't let that go unavenged.
Just a bit of randomeness I wrote late one night. I thought it was kind of cool though.
