The family announces with sorrow her passing on Wednesday August 5, 2009 at the Extendicare Nursing Home, at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald in 1995 and her children Audrey in 1975, Jerry Jr. (Sharon) in 1987 and Tim in 1994 and Karen in 2002. Loving mother of Lorelei Twain. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Arthur Luke and her sister Hattie Luke-Maher (late Ronald). Predeceased by her siblings Deliah, Sadie, Maggie, Aubrey, Doris and Grace. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday August 10, 2009 at St. Anthony’s Cathedral. Remembrance donations made to the Alzheimer Society will be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 9 from 7-9 pm at Maison funéraire LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home.
