Shania Twain hit the red carpet Wednesday for the first time since splitting with her husband -- and Carrie Underwood couldn't be happier.

"It was really good to have her back," Underwood told reporters in the CMA Awards press room after winning female vocalist of the year. "It's been a long time since she has hung out with all of us again. I think everybody missed her."

In May, Twain announced she was divorcing her husband of 14 years, Robert "Mutt" Lange, after he allegedly had an affair with her best friend and former secretary.

Underwood's relationship advice?

"Revenge really isn't a good path to take," she said. "I'm one of these

people who think I'm better off without it."

Added the singer (who is dating Bachelor alum Travis Stork), "I think you are better off holding your head up high and walking away."
