Pirate's House The Blue Marbles Renee Asch Rondolier Dead RingersThe pirates house is one of the many haunted houses in Savannah. A story went along with it that was about a pirate that lived in the house, and fell in love with a girl. One day, the girl fell off the deck of his ship, and died. He searched the water for her, but never found her. It is said that if you watch the house on the right day of the year, you will be able to see the door, open, and slam shut as the pirate goes back to the sea to look find his love.
The house with the marble is another haunted house in Savannah. A man re-flooring his house found a bag containing a blue marble in it, and moved the marble up to his dresser. The next day, the marble was missing. It was not until the man went back to re-flooring the room did he find the marble back under the floorboard. He took the marble out again, and nailed the floorboard shut. That is when things started happening to the house. The lights would flicker on and off for no reason, and things would move by themselves. One night the women in the house gathered her children, and tried actually talking to the house to get it to stop, and just then, all the lights in the house went off, and the phone rang. She picked up the phone and no one answered. That was when the family packed up their things, and moved out.
Renee Asch Rondolier was considered a freak when he was growing up. People always laughed at him, and made fun of him. Strange murders started occuring in Savannah, and no one could find the killer, so they picked someone to blame, and that person was Renee. After he was put in jail, the murders ceased, and everyone was happy again, until Renee was later released from prison. Shortly after he was release, the murders started occuring again. They once again could not figure out who was murdering the city's children. The city was now getting restless, they wanted to know who was murdering their children, and wanted them punished. Since it looked pretty suspicious that the murders started re-occuring when Renee was released, they decided to punish him for the murders by hanging him. It is said that he still haunts the graveyard today, murdering small children just as he was accused of doing when he was alive.
Dead Ringers.Years ago, there was an incurable disease that struck Savannah. Doctors searched for cures, but couldn't seem to find any. The disease was so bad, that once diagnosed with it, family members could reserve a place for them to be burried. The only problem was that what they did not realize was that this disease was that in most cases, the infected people would sometimes have a miraculous comeback, after they were thought to be dead. Many people were actually burried alive. They were unconcious when they were burried, but somehow had a recovery shortly after. Many coffins were found with scratches on the inside of the coffin from the people trying to claw out. This became such a big problem that something had to be done. They started burrying the people with buttons, where if they woke up, they could ring the button. Someone would stand gaurd of the bodies in case they rang. If they rang, people would come and dig them up. However, if no one heard the ring, they were called dead ringers.
