หมู่บ้านแกะสลักไม้รูปสัตว์ต่างๆ เป็นอุตสาหกรรมภายในหมู่บ้าน แต่ก่อนเป็นการทำโดยใช้เวลาว่างจากการทำนา ปัจจุบันการแกะสลักไม้เป็นรูปสัตว์ต่างๆ นี้ ได้รับความนิยมของนัก ท่องเที่ยว และได้รับสั่งจองทำออกจำหน่ายเป็นอุตสหกรรมภายในหมู่บ้าน ซึ่งทำกันมากที่บ้านหลุก อำเภอแม่ทะ

Handicrafts Village (Ban Hlook)
Ban Hlook is the old craft of woodcarving still thrives in Lampang and good quality, richly carved animals can be obtained at most favourable items are trays, salad bowls and carved figures of people and animals (elephants are understandably common although it is hard to fathom what anyone would do with some of the giant statues almost the size of the a real life baby pachyderm). A number of good woodcarving shops are located at Ban Hlook Mae Tha District, Lampang Province.
