Little white church in San Isidro Monjas.

San Isidro Monjas is about a mile-and-a-half west of the Oaxaca airport. I stopped and took this photo when I bicycled to Cuilapan and Zaachila.

Lonely Planet guide says that this church was build mainly between 1570 and 1608 for the city's Dominical monastery.



Iglesia Santo Domingo is five blocks north of the Zócalo on Calle Alcalá Cactus garden in front of Iglesia Santo Domingo

Unfinished church at Cuilapan

Cuilapan is about seven miles south and a little west of Oaxaca.

There is a former monastery adjacent to this church which is open to the public.
