Virtualboy FAQs
The virtual boy was a huge flop for nintendo. The virtual boy is a 3D (well not exactly 3D, but 2D over 2D) virtual reality set, that came out in 1995. They were expecting to sell over 1,000,000 in the U.S. alone, but only ended up selling 500,000 worldwide! These systems have been known to cause eye damage to children over 7, becuase the graphics are red and black. Because of high prices and poor marketing nintendo was unable to introduce virtual reality to the world.
Review
Graphics: 9
This system is basically 3D. I would really like to play this system (owning it would be even better). I spent 9 hours doing reasearch on the system, and all it's reviews seemed great. Sounds good to me.
Originality: 9
This is the first virtual reality set I know of. No one has even tried to copy it (I wonder why...hummmm.....maybe because they only sold 500,000 wolrdwide!). I think this system is one of a kind.
Fun: unknown
I haven't played this system (who has?)
Price: 9.5
Every price that i have seen this system sell for is $30.00 or less, and the games are $10.00 to $20.00. All i have to say is holy crud. (all the more reason to buy it.... no I was not payed by nintendo to make this site)
Overall: 9
Awesome!
