Throttle Body Installation

The Throttle Body unit bolts on easily and has all the same vacuum ports as a carburetor.

The rear of the unit contains the fuel lines and the pressure regulator.  It normally runs at 21 psi, but it can operate at pressures as low as 12 psi.

The throttle body installation was the easiest part.  The throttle linkage has the same geometry as an Edelbrock carburetor.  Holley includes a few different size ball studs for the throttle cable and an extension bracket for the throttle arm for Fords and Chryslers.  An adapter to make the air horn stock height is included.

Voila!  It fits.  The air cleaner mounting stud had to be lengthened, but the installed height is the same.  There is no vacuum port on the rear so the PCV was modified.  Notice that all electrical connections exit neatly on the passenger side.  Therefore it is desirable to place the ECU on the passenger side of the car.
