Contemplation >>
Back in 1996, contemplating the future: my husband happily showing his visa to enter the UK. We were living in Miami at the time and went to the British Embassy in New York for him to apply for his visa. People from developing countries always have a hard time at consulates and borders and he was expecting everything to be difficult and complicated. But since I hold an EU passport, for the first time in his life he didn't have to prove his intentions... which were the best possible, by the way! Anyway, we moved to Britain almost 6 months after this photo was taken.
