It's familiar to you perhaps, but it was very unfamiliar to me!
I took this photo at an open air bookstore in Hay-on-Wye to show the "please pay here" kind of sales: take the goods and leave the money somewhere - inside a box on the wall, an open bucket, etc. It's very common and can be seen everywhere around Britain but it's the kind of thing I don't think it would work in my own country.
