1. poor transference of shoppers from the ttdi pasar malam -- i believe that was due to our signage being blocked and that will be addressed in publicity for the next market.
2. too hot -- as a result, we are now operating from 4pm - 8pm. Do not worry about nightfall as lighting at the carpark is quite sufficient.
3. not enough publicity? for your information, the following means of publicity were utilized for the first market -- flyers in ttdi homes, coverage in the ttdi newsletter, the star newspaper & wow fm, posters in the surrounding areas plus several websites. in fact, other media were blitzed such as nst and malay mail but it is unknown whether those press releases got picked up. nevertheless, that was the turnout we got (which for the record, i'm not too unhappy with) and i can only say that with consistency and continued effort, it is only a matter of time before the ttdi 2nd hand & creativity market picks up steam and indeed grows stronger. Plans for the future for example, include impromptu fashion shows, demos & workshops to go with more 'dynamic' busking sessions.
4. confusion about which lot to occupy -- as a result, all rentals will be reserved on the day of the market itself from 9 september onwards, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Azrin, is that you?

Below are pictures of some of the stalls on that day, arranged approximately according to where they were located. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of all those who participated, so if I've left out your name or named you wrongly, sorry; you can mail me with the right data. You can also mail me with your pictures if I've left out any of yours. Eventually I want to move to a virtual parallel of the market on the web where I link participants' photos to their websites or to simple ones I can create for them if they give me materials (eg Azrin's & Optimax's links to the bottom right).

It was a stressful day as this was the very first market. I was happy with the way it turned out however though there
were obviously a few flaws that needed to be attended to in the next market:
