I have a Sony Multiscan 100ES monitor, it is a very good monitor. I use it for my Pavilion PC. After I got the Performa, I think maybe it is possible to share the Sony monitor between the Pavilion and the Performa. After searching a lot of on-line retailers, I got my solution, finally.

For newer macintoshes, you have the same VGA connector, just as the PCs. However, for some old macintoshes, you need a adaptor. The adaptor is called HDDB15 Female to DB15 Male. It convert the mac monitor connector to the standard VGA connector for connection to the PC monitor. I ordered it from AppleSeed Electronics . If you have a newer mac, you can avoid the hassle of buying a adaptor. You can just go to the next step directly.

After you get adaptor, you can go for a VGA A/B switch box from some retailers. I found it from the AppleSeed Electronics . You can also find it at buy.com. With the switch box and/or the adaptor, you can use one monitor for two computers. That solution works perfect for me.
