Christmas 2000 was Leana's first with us. She had seen trees before, because she seemed to know what they were. The first time we saw a decorated tree in a store, she said "oh, momma, so pitiful". I said "I think you mean beautiful". She laughed and said "Yeah, Beautiful". The lady standing beside us got a big laugh out of it too. She wanted nothing to do with Santa. |
