Hisashi gently scratched Ayu’s belly. The prescious cat, lying on a table, closed his eyes, enjoying the way his master treated him. A half-aged woman stood beside the examination table, writing something into her notepad.

“Well, nothing’s bad, Tonomura-san. Ayu is just catch a cold. I will give him some medicine.” She took a little box from her cabinet. “This is an antibiotic for cat. Give it to him after meal, twice a day.”she explained.

Hisashi released a big sigh. “Ne, you’re really make me worried.” He whispered to his cat. Ayu purred slowly like understood of what his master was saying.

“Bring him here three days again so I can check on his condition.” The doctor said again.

Hisashi nodded and smiled. “But I have to go to Hokkaido tomorrow. So maybe my fiance will take him here.”

The woman smiled. “Oh, yes. No problem. I’ve heard about your engagement. Congratulation, Tonomura-san.” She said as she reached out her hand and shook Hisashi’s hand.

The guitarist smiled. “Thank you, Okada-san.” He took Ayu into his arms and bowed to the doctor. He walked out the room and went to the cashier for the payment.

“Ne, the weather is quite nice. Why don’t we take a walk?” Hisashi said to his cat after they got out from the vet. His fingers scratched Ayu’s chin. Ayu purred as a response and licked his master’s hand.

Hisashi turned to the park and walked along the path. The sky was brightly blue without any cloud. The spring wind started to blow, bringing a little warmness in the middle of the cold weather.

A genuine smile touched the guitarist’s thin lips as he remembered the doctor congratulated him on his engagement. Yeah, the media had made it so much a great story. Hisashi, lead guitarist of GLAY, has engaged. Written as the headline in some newspaper and music magazines a week ago.

That day he had to plug off his phone and turned off his mobile because they didn’t stop ringing from the reporter and gossip seeker who wanted a confirmation about that. Leave it to their manager, Takuro had noted.

Hisashi smiled. Yeah, he and his fiance wanted a privacy. After they were ready, they would surely held a press conference or something like that. The important thing was that he was happy. Because he had bounded his relationship with the most important person in his life.

Still one problem though. His family. He had to fly off to Hokkaido to talk to his mother and brothers. They needed to know. They had to know. He wanted them to know that he had found someone who could make him happy. The one he loved so dear and needed so much. He wanted them to be happy with him.

Hisashi lifted Ayu and dropped a light kiss on Ayu’s head. “You’re happy with me, aren’t you, Ayu-chan?”

Ayu purred again. Hisashi smiled lovingly to the cat. But suddenly Ayu jumped off his arms and ran before him.

“Ayu-chan!” Hisashi called him but the cat didn’t stop running.

Hisashi sighed and ran after his cat. After a few metres, he lost him. Hisashi became panic. His eyes darted between people’s feet, searching for his prescious dear cat. Finally he found it. The cat was siting in the middle of the zebracross, licking his feet. Luckily, the traffic light was red.

Hisashi quickly ran to his cat before the light turned into green. But as he ran, the light turned into green and he didn’t notice it. A big truck came from his left with a high speed and blowing its horn to warn Hisashi.

He practically stopped but the truck headed straight to Ayu. The cat didn’t ignore the loud horn. It still continued bathing himself. Hisashi stood there. Stunned. He was like seeing a nightmare.

“Ayu-chaaann…!!”

****

Jiro ran along the hospital corridor. He didn’t care about the people who stared oddly at him. He stopped to ask the nurse where the animal section was and quickly headed there after he got the answer.

Hisashi had called him on his mobile. Sobbing. Didn’t say any words than ‘Ayu-chan’, ‘died’, and ‘hospital’. He became worried and jumped to his car immidiately after Hisashi hung up.

He opened the main door to the animal section and found Hisashi sat on a chair right at the end of the corridor. He had his head to his hands. Jiro quickly approached him and stood beside him.

“Hisa, what happen?”

Hisashi looked up to Jiro and Jiro could see he was crying. His eyes was red and his face was wet. Jiro couldn’t hold himself and pulled him into his embrace. Hisashi cried on Jiro’s shoulder, “Ayu-chan, Ayu-chan….”

“Ssshhh….calm down. Calm down.” He pulled Hisashi from him and wiped Hisashi’s tears with his hand. “Calm down, Hisa. Tell me what happened…”

Hisashi opened his mouth to speak when Takuro and Teru came. The leader and the vocalist placed a worry look on their face and asked Hisashi what had happened. Jiro sat beside Hisashi. He entwined their fingers and squeezed Hisashi’s hand gently as if he wanted to give him courage to speak out.

Hisashi told them what had happened. Takuro shook his head in pity. Teru shut his eyes and sighed heavily. Jiro pulled him into his embrace.

“Where is he now?” Takuro asked.

Hisashi motioned his head to the side, to a closed door with the ‘On Surgery’ sign was on. “They has been there for almost two hour. God, I hope nothing bad happens to Ayu…”his voice trembeld and he strarted to sob again.

Jiro caress his arm.

“Don’t worry, Hisa. He’s in the good hand. Everything’s gonna be allright. Let’s wait. And pray.” Teru said as he patted Hisashi’s shoulder.

A half hour later, the sign turned off. Okada-san walked out from the room, releasing her masker. Her face was unreadable.

Hisashi rose from his seat and neared her. His friends followed. “How is he, Okada-san?”

Okada-san stared sadly to Hisashi. “Okada-san?” Hisashi called in terrify.

Okada-san casually threw her face away, “I’m sorry, Tonomura-san.”

****

“Is he okay?” Teru asked from the other line.

Jiro peered to Hisashi who was packing his luggage. “He is sad. But he tries not to show it.”

Jiro heard Teru sighed. “I understand how he feels. Is he going to Hokkaido anyway?”

“He’s packing his luggage now. I’ve told him that it can be canceled for now, but he insist…”

He heard some noises and now Takuro was on the phone, “Tell him not to leave, Jiro. I’m afraid he will ruin everything if he insist to go in this state.”

“Yeah, I will. Thanks anyway, guys. I’ll try to talk to him again.” Jiro finally said before he hung up. “Ja.”

“Ja.”

Jiro replaced the receiver into its place and sighed. He leaned to the table and put his eyes on Hisashi. Ayu’s death certainly hurt him. The prescious cat had been the closest one to him. Ayu was his only company Hisashi had whenever he was alone. Ayu was the only one who never complained if Hisashi was babbling about his feeling or madness. Ayu was the most important thing in Hisashi’s life.

Jiro walked over to him and sat on the bedside, right beside Hisashi’s luggage. The brunette put some shirt into his luggage. Jiro helped him with them.

“Hisa…you don’t have to go today…” Jiro said slowly.

Hisashi shook his head. “No, Jiro. I have to go. I’ve called my mother and if I don’t show up she will be worry. She has been asking me about the rumour. and she has noted that I have to explain to her as soon as possible.”

Jiro took Hisashi’s hand, “But Hisa, you don’t have to go now. What about reschedule it a few days again so I can go with you?”

Hisashi caressed Jiro’s cheek softly, smiling to the blonde. “I’ve told you I will go first. I will explain everything to my mother and after everything’s clear then I will take you to meet my family…” He placed small kiss on Jiro’s pout. And he continued packing.

But Jiro still stubborn to hold his hand. “Hisa, you’re not in the state of making everything’s clear. You’re still sad for Ayu.”

Hisashi stopped again and stared at Jiro’s brown eyes. He could see a deep concern in them. Hisashi took Jiro’s other hand. “Look, koi. I am sad. I am deeply sad on him. I’m losing the most important thing of my life. But I still have another important thing in my life and I have to keep it with me. I won’t let it away from me.”

He stared right into Jiro’s eyes. Jiro smiled. He leaned to Hisashi and embraced him tightly. “Thank you, koi. I love you.”

Hisashi cupped Jiro’s face in his hands and kissed him lovingly. “I’ve lost Ayu. And I don’t want to lose you too…” he whispered on Jiro’s lips.

Jiro slowly withdrew from Hisashi’s embrace and helped him packed. But Hisashi removed his luggage to the floor and pushed Jiro on to the matress. Jiro laughed and welcomed Hisashi into his arms.

****

Jiro opened his eyes slowly and turned his body to where Hisashi lied beside him but found no one. He blinked. He slowly sat up and brushed his face with his hand.

“Hisa…”

His eyes gazed across the room and found it empty. His eyes dropped on to a sheet of paper on the nightstand. He stretched his body and took it. Hisashi’s handwriting.

I’m sorry I didn’t wake you up. You know I always hate to wake you up, especially when you’re sleeping so soundly like that. I’ll call you as soon as I arrive at Hokkaido.

Yours always, Hisashi.

Jiro smiled. Eventhough he was a little disappointed that he couldn’t take his fiance to the airport. Jiro got off from the bed and walked to the bathroom. He was naked but he didn’t care. No one would notice him anyway.

Jiro turned on the light and the shower. He let it became hot enough. He reached out his hand under the water to feel the heat when he felt his stomach growled. He ran to the wash tub and threw up everything in his stomach.

The blonde coughed several times. He pinned his eyes shut. “Gods, what happened to me?” he muttered. He threw up once again. He coughed again. He turned on the tab and the water flowed, carrying his stomach’s contents along.

Jiro washed his mouth. He stood still for a moment and after he was sure he was okay, he stepped into the shower. But he still wondered why did he throw up.

The blonde wore his sunglasses and walked along the shopping area. His eyes swept the display windows. A boutique. Computer store that suddenly reminded him to Hisashi. Hisashi always stopped by at that place to ask about the newest issue of the computer goodies or whatever. Camera shop. Jiro decided that he liked his Canon more than those that displayed behind the window.

His step stopped in front of a pet shop. He stared in disbelieve on what he saw on the display window. He rushed to the store.

“Irasshaimase…”a girl welcomed him. “Can I help you, Sir?”

Jiro nodded. “Yes. The cat in the display window…”

The girl smiled. “You want that one, Sir? We have another species here…”

“No.” Jiro cut her. “I want that one…”

“Okay.” The girl walked to the display window. She took a basket and put it on the cashier table. “He is one years old, Sir. A little spoiled, but he is so loveable…”she said as she took out the cat from the basket.

Jiro scratched the cat’s head. The cat purred and scratched his head into Jiro’s palm. “Yeah, indeed.”

“Cash or credit card, Sir?” the girl asked again.

“Oh, credit card.” Jiro said. He pulled out his wallet from his back pocket and handed the girl the plastic thing.

The girl did the transaction. “Sign here, Sir.” The girl handed him a pen. Jiro signed and the girl gave him a copy of the transaction bill. She put the cat into a blue case and handed it to Jiro.

“Thank you, Wayama-san. Hope you’ll love it…”

Jiro smiled and walked out from the store with a smug smile. He would make this as a surprise for Hisashi.

****

Jiro opened the refrigerator and searching for something to eat. He smirked when he found nothing much left on it. Just some beers, half pack of frozen food, a few bottle of mineral water, and a half bag of pretzel.

It’s time for shopping, he thought. I guess I’ll have the pretzel again for now. He took the pretzel and put it in the microwave. He waited a few minutes then took out the pretzel. He went to the living room and sat on the couch. He grabbed the remote and found some channel to be watched.

He leaned to the couch and ate his pretzel. The cat jumped on his lap and purred to him. Jiro shook his head, “Nah, this is my dinner. And pretzel is not good for cats.” He said. The cat looked at him like begging. Jiro stubbornly shook his head. “No.”

It seemed like understood and he jumped off Jiro’s lap. It curled like a ball beside Jiro and scratched his head to Jiro’s tigh, asking for attention. Jiro scratched its belly lovingly.

“You’re going to make Hisa cheer up again. Until that time I better keep you as a secret. Even to Takuro and Teru. How do you think?” he talked to the cat.

The cat purred and licked Jiro’s hand. Thanking him for his attention or agreeing with him, Jiro didn’t know sure.

The phone rang. Jiro reached out his hand to take the receiver. “Moshi-moshi, Wayama desu…”

“Jiro…”

Jiro’s eyes widened happily, “Oh, hi, Hisa! Everything’s fine?”

“Yeah. So far it can be say like that.”

“What do you mean?”

Silence. Jiro sighed, “It’s not good, isn’t it? Your mother didn’t agree on us?”

“She hasn’t said anything yet. I’ve talked to her. But right now I can’t talk to her again. She’s shocked.” Hisashi explained from the other line.

Jiro bit his lower lip, “I wish for the best…”

“Ne, you don’t have to be worry like that. Everything’s gonna be okay. It’s okay with your parents, right?”

Jiro rolled his eyes, “Yeah, considering that they’re the fans of yours…”

Hisashi laughed. A relieve smile touched Jiro’s natural pout. “Ne, Hisa…”

“Hm, nani?”

“Glad to hear you laugh…” he said softly.

“Koi…you’re the only one who make me happy right now…”

Jiro blushed. “Mou…”

“Everything’s okay with you?”

Jiro frowned a little. He decided he wouldn’t tell Hisashi about him throwing up in the morning. “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m the one who should be asking you that. Ne, are you allright?”

“Not so good until I call you…”

“Hisa, I’m serious…”

“Who says I’m not?” a cough, “Yea, I’m still a little sad. Okay, very sad. But I guess I have to take it aside for a while…”

Jiro felt his stomach growled again. He gulped down, “Yeah. You’re right…”

“Well, I have to go now. I’ll be home tomorrow, so I guess I’ll try to talk to her tonight.”

“Ne, Hisa. Don’t push her. It must be hard for her…”

“Wakatta. Oyasumi, koishii…”

“Oyasumi.” He put the receiver and rushed to the kitchen. He knelt in front of the wash bin and threw up again. The cat followed him and staring at him.

****

Takuro talked seriously with Masahide and they had some little argument while Teru was drown into his drawing and Jiro was busy with his new iBook Hisashi had brought him.

The meeting was totally boring. Jiro wished that Hisa was there too so at least they could do something to distract them from the boredom. Then he felt his stomach growled again.

He stood up and said to Takuro, “Ne, I need to go the toilet…”

Takuro nodded and Jiro immidiately ran off the meeting room. Teru blinked at his friend leaving. Something’s wrong with Jiro, he fumed. I better check on him. So he rose from his seat.

“What is it, Teru?” Takuro glared at him.

Teru grinned, “I need to use the toilet too…”

Takuro sighed. “Okay, let’s just take ten…”

Teru’s grin widened. He gave a quick peck on Takuro’s cheek then walked out.

He pushed the toilet door opened and saw Jiro kneeling in front of the wash tub. Coughing and throwing pout his stomach’s contents. The tab was opened.

Teru covered his mouth with his hand. Oh my God, what has happened to Jiro? Is he…? Could he be…No, Teru. It’s stupid. But…Hisashi and him…so, it can be…Yes. I’m sure he is… He gulped down. Pregnant. Eventhough he didn’t know how they did it but the technology nowadays could be giving them so many help.

“Jiro?” Teru called.

Jiro turned to him. His face was pale.

“Are you okay?”

Jiro pulled a paper handkerchief and used it to wipe his mouth. He coughed once again. “Yeah, I’m fine…”

“Do I need to call…”

“No.” Jiro shook his head. “I’m fine. Really.”

Teru crossed his hands in front of his chest and glared at his friend. Jiro didn’t seem like to tell him about his…pregnancy. Teru frowned, “Jiro…you’re hiding something from us, right?”

Jiro snapped his head and stared back at Teru. He know, he thought. But how…Oh, he must be noticing me walked out from the pet shop or when I took it to my apartment.

Jiro licked his lips, “Ne, Teru…please don’t tell this to anyone, okay?”

“But why? It’s going to be the part of us, right?” Teru frowned.

Jiro smiled. He scratched his nose, “Yeah, but…”

“Did Hisashi know?” Teru asked again.

Jiro smiled again and shook his head. “I haven’t tell him yet…”

“Ee? But…it’s…belong to him, right?” Teru said in confuse.

Jiro laughed. Teru could see Jiro’s profile soften. He smiled too. He remembered his ex-wife was also like that when she had their child in her.

“Of course it’s belong to him.” Jiro said. “But I want to make this as a surprise for him. So, help me out, okay? Don’t tell it to anyone else.”

Teru nodded. He felt so excited. He was going to be an uncle! “Okay.”

“Thank’s…”

They went back to the meeting room and Jiro stopped in front of a vending machine. He bought a pack of Pocky. Something sweet could make his stomach a little calm down. He put his hand on his stomach. He became more often to throw up.

Teru gently patted Jiro’s back. He opened the door and… “Hisa!!”

Jiro lifted his head. His mouth still busy crunching at the Pocky. He rushed to the smiling Hisashi who sat next to Takuro. Hisashi reached out his hands and pulled Jiro into his embrace.

They kissed and Hisashi made Jiro sat on his lap. “What are you doing in here?” Jiro asked.

“Well, I’m still a member of GLAY I supposed…”Hisashi smirked.

“That’s not what I mean. You told me you’re going home tonight.”

Hisashi nodded. He took a stick of Pocky from Jiro’s hand. “Yeah. But Takuro called me last night. He told me about the meeting and he asked me to go back in here as soon as everything was settled down…”

Jiro rested his hands comfortably on Hisashi’s shoulder. He lifted his perfectly-shaped eyebrows. “So…you mean…”

“Mother said she wanted to see the person who can make me smile. She wanted to thank him.” Hisashi said.

Jiro blinked. Teru beamed, “Wai! Congratulation, Jiro!”

Jiro hugged Hisashi, “Oh, Hisa…Hisa, I…”

Hisashi smiled lovingly to his fiance. “Ne, I’ve told you everything’s gonna be all right…”

“Okay. Can we get back to the meeting, guys?”

Teru pouted to Takuro, “Mou, Takkun…”

The leader glared at him and the vocalist sat back to his chair. Jiro remained on Hisashi’s lap.

“Ne, Jiro. There’s still an empty seat…” Takuro commented.

“What? Do you mind?” Jiro grinned.

Takuro rolled his eyes.

****

Hisashi opened the door and saw Teru smiled at him. “Hi, Hisa!”

“Teko, what are you doing?”

“I’m from Takuro’s house so I stop by in here. Eh, may I come in?” Teru asked.

Hisashi smiled. He stepped a side. “Of course. Come in.”

Teru walked in and Hisashi told him to sit in the living room. He went to the kitchen and back with two cans of beer in his hands. He handed one to Teru and sat in front of him.

Teru opened the can and sipped the beer. “Ne, I’m really jealous with you, Tono-chan…”

Hisashi twitched his eyebrows, “Why?”

“Yeah, you’re happy. You have a koibito you loved so much…” Teru babbled.

Hisashi frowned. “You have Takuro.”

“Yeah, but…maybe I’m jealous to Jiro. Considering that I’m in his position and Takkun didn’t proposed to me…”

Hisashi laughed. “Mou, Teko. So you’re hoping Takuro to propose to you? Why you don’t propose him first?”

Teru wrinked his nose, “Nah. It would hurt his dignity…”

Hisashi laughed again. He sipped his beer.

“Where’s Jiro?” Teru cranned his neck.

“Oh, he’s in his house. I’m going to meet him there tonight…”

“So, I guess he will tell you tonight…” Teru mused. But then he regreted on what he was saying. He swore in his mind. Baka! You shoudn’t said that!

“Tell me what?” Hisashi asked.

“Nothing…”

A sharp glare. “Teko…”

“Oh, okay. I’m not supposed to tell you this because Jiro has asked me not to tell this to anyone. But…I’m happy with you, Hisa…”

“What is it, Teko?” Hisashi forced him.

Teru sighed. “You’re going to be a father.” He said softly.

Hisashi blinked. “What?”

“Yeah, Tono. You’re going to be a father. Jiro is pregnant!”

“WHAT??!!” Hisashi passed out. Teru jumped from his seat and took Hisashi’s hand. He patted Hisashi’s hand. “Oi, Hisa! Hisa!”

****

Jiro scooped the cat into his arms. “Ne, I’m going to surprise Hisashi tonight…So you better get into your case.”

The cat purred in protest. It struggled when Jiro tried to get it into the blue case. Jiro closed the door. “Ne, be good in there, okay?”

The doorbell rang. Jiro ran to the front door and caughed a little before he opened the door.

Hisashi smiled when Jiro opened the door for him. Jiro greeted him cheerfully and Hisashi couldn’t help himself not to kiss him. Jiro let him in and closed the door behind him slowly.

Hisashi propped himself on the couch and Jiro sat beside him. Hisashi pulled him into his embrace and kissed the blonde. He licked Jiro’s lower lip, making the blonde to open his mouth and slipped his tongue inside. Their tongues rubbed against each other and Hisashi took control of it.

He missed Jiro so much. He missed how Jiro could distract him from his problem just with a mere touch. He missed his love.

The kiss broken slowly and Jiro buried his face into Hisashi’s neck. Hisashi ran his fingers blankly inside Jiro’s silk-liked blonde hair.

“Ne, you want something?” Jiro asked, “Coffee or tea?”

“I’ll make it myself.” Hisashi replied as he engaged himself from Jiro and went to Jiro’s kitchen. Jiro just smiled.

Hisashi stood in front of the pantry, waiting for the water to boil. He opened the kitchen cabinet, wondered where Jiro had put the sugar.

“Jiro, where do you---“ his speech cut when suddenly Jiro ran to the kitchen.

Jiro bent on the wash tub and threw up so hard. Hisashi rushed to his side and opened the tab.

“Jiro, for God’s sake, what happen?” he gently massage the back of Jiro’s neck.

Jiro still coughing and throwing up. Hisashi gulped down. Teru was right, he thought. Jiro was really...

Jiro coughed several times and he fell bonelessly to the floor. Hisashi knelt beside him and wiped Jiro’s mouth with a napkin, “Are you allright?”

He coughed again. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

“I’ll call the doctor…” Hisashi proceeded to stand.

Jiro catched his wrist, “No! I’m fine, Hisa.”

“No. I’ll call the doctor. Teru said that you’ve been like this the whole day… I’ll call the doctor.” Hisashi said coldly.

Jiro sighed. Hisashi kissed him softly, “I’m worry about you.” He helped Jiro to get on his feet and led him to the bedroom. He forced Jiro to lay down on the bed.

Hisashi got back into Jiro’s room with a cup of hot black tea and some crackers. He put them on the nightstand and sat on the bedside. He helped Jiro to sit and handed him the tea. “Take this. It will make you feel better…”

Jiro didn’t say anything but obeyed his fiance. He slowly sipped the tea and ate the cracker. Hisashi watched his lover and squeezed one of his hand.

The doctor came and examined Jiro. He used his stetoscope carefully on Jiro and asked him to take a deep breath and blew it out several times. He took off the tool and smiled to Hisashi.

Hisashi asked the doctor, “How is it, doctor?”

The doctor still smiled, “Could you tell me what are you been eating lately, Wayama-san?” he asked to Jiro.

Jiro frowned, trying to remember. “A couple of beer and…pretzel…”

“That’s all?” Hisashi frowned.

“Frozen pretzel?” the doctor asked again. Jiro nodded. The doctor turned to Hisashi, “Could you take a look on it, Tonomura-san?”

“Sure.” Hisashi ran off the room and he backed again afew minutes later with the pretzel in his hand. He handed it to the doctor.

The doctor scanned the bag and smiled. “Like I thought. Wayama-san, you better be more careful on what you’re eating. Especially with frozen food.” He lifted the bag, “It’s been expired two months ago…”

The two’s eyes widened. Hisashi blinked, “So…”

“He’s just poisoned.” The doctor replied. “He will be okay if he don’t consume this again…”

“That’s why I keep throwing up?” Jiro asked.

The doctor smiled, “Yes.”

“So, you’re not…you’re not pregnant?”

Jiro turned to his fiance in confuse. “Who says I’m pregnant? And for God’s sake, Hisashi, how in the world do I get pregnant?”

Hisashi blushed. He coughed. “Ah, well…”he turned to the smiling doctor, “Thank you, Doctor. Please send the bill to my account. I’ll walk you out…”

The doctor nodded and Jiro thanked him. Hisashi walked the doctor out and Jiro couldn’t supressed a giggle. When Hisashi came back, he couldn’t help not to laugh loudly.

Hisashi sat on the bedside and leaned to Jiro. He put his hands on the side of Jiro’s head, “Mou…what are you laughing about?”

“Oh, Hisa. That’s so silly. How could you think that I am pregnant?” Jiro still giggled.

Hisashi leaned his forehead against Jiro. “Well, you can’t blame me. You’re my fiance and certainly we’re making love…so…”

Jiro hugged his lover, “Oh, Hisa…”

“Besides, Teru told me…”

“He told you? Jiro frowned. “What did he told you?”

“He told me that you’re pregnant. He said he supposed not to tell me that because you had asked him to. But he was losing control…” Hisashi said.

Jiro thought for a while then he bursted again. “I guess there’s a little misunderstanding between me and Teru. I am keeping a secret, Hisashi. But not that I am having your baby.”

Hisashi kissed the tip of Jiro’s nose. “So…would you tell me now?”

Jiro pointed to the corner of the room. “Take that…”

Hisashi stood and took the blue case Jiro pointed. He brought it to the bed and sat again.

“Open it…”

Hisashi slowly opened the small door and stunned as a creature walked out from it. He put the case a side and the creature purred at him.

“A…Ayu-chan…” Hisashi whispered.

The cat licked Hisashi’s fingers, asking for an attention. Hisashi still couldn’t believe on what he saw. He scooped the cat. He scanned it. Its fur, its face, all of its character was exactly like Ayu. But how could it be? Ayu was…

He looked up to Jiro. Jiro smiled to him. “Jiro, this is…”

Jiro scratched the cat’s head. “Ayu-chan the second…”

“What?” Hisashi blinked.

“I found him when I was walking at the shopping center. I was also amazed when I saw him. He really looks like Ayu, ne? So I thought he can replace Ayu’s place and make you smile again…” Jiro explained softly.

Thousands of emotion swept Hisashi. That time he felt that he really loved Jiro. He put the cat down and hugged Jiro tightly and pulled him into a kiss.

“I love you, Jiro. I love you so much. I have told my mother that she won’t regret if she take you as her son-in-law. And I’m sure she won’t. Thank you, koi. Thank you.”

“I love you too, Hisa.”

They kissed again.

“Ne…”Jiro managed to speak after a moment.

“Nani?”

“I think that’s not a bad idea…”

“What?” Hisashi looked down on him.

“Having your baby in me…” Jiro smirked.

Hisashi laughed. “We’ll think about it later, koi. And for now…keep away from the frozen food, okay?”

“You will cook for me?” Jiro stared at Hisashi with puppy eyes.

Hisashi kissed him again. “Anything, koi. Anything.”
