Hisashi poured steaming water into two black coffee mugs. The clear liquid softly merging with the dark powder, making it one. He was in the process of adding sugar into the black coffee mugs when the phone rang. "I'll get it!" Hisashi shouted from the kitchen, while reaching out to get the reciever from the kitchen wall. "Hai. Moshi moshi" Hisashi said, his voice sounded welcoming and cheery despite his abhorrance with phones, he's like that whenever Jiro is around. "Tono, it's Tekko...etto do you want to go out for a drink or something?" "Oi Tekko! Ano...I can't go out tonight, Jiro's here...maybe some other time?" "Ah sou da ne? Um, okay. By the way, speaking of Jiro I saw him a while ago in the cafe." Hisashi blew his bangs. "Oh yeah, he was out with his sister." "Sister? Oh...nevermind." Curiousity clouded Hisashi's mind. "Why? Something the matter?" "Nah...I really shouldn't. Ne Tono, gotta jet" Hisashi's voice became deep with seriousness. "Matte. Tekko, I want to know." "Okay but don't tell him I told you okay?" Hisashi didn't say anything. "I saw Jiro with a guy a while ago...in some cafe near his pad." Hisashi put down the reciever with a loud bang. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Teru smiled with satisfaction. The two are going to have a fight and that only means one thing. Jiro will come to him. In the end, Jiro always comes to him. Teru looked at his reflection, his smiled became a little wider...a little more sinister than before. "I told you so...he's mine" he told his reflection. And his reflection didn't talk back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ne Hisa, what's taking you so lo-ara?" Jiro startled eyes met the cold ones of the guitarist. Hisashi glared at him from the corner of his eye, his delicate features now cold and emotionless and despite his silence there is a very powerful atmosphere in the air. Jiro has never seen Hisashi act this way before unless...unless he learned something... The thought sent a sudden chill to run down his spine. Hisashi turned to fully face the bassist, his face a hard mask of somethign Jiro wouldn't want to think too deeply about, "Who were you with a while ago?" "Hisa-" Jiro began, taking a step toward the other man. Before Jiro had the chance to continue, Hisashi cut him off with his dry emotionless voice. "Do not try to lie...I can read you like a book" Jiro noted the threatening way Hisashi spoke those words. His mind closed on two things...be honest or try risking a lie. His mind went blank but when he looked at Hisashi's eyes he knew he had to make a decision fast. Jiro took a deep breath and risked everything in a lie, all to save the relationship that is close to ruins. He's desperate for anything...and he's not about risk his relationship by being honest...being honest means telling the truth and the truth will hurt both of them. The truth will hurt the person he loves. Jiro's not a great actor, but with desperation comes determination...he looked Hisashi straight in the eyes. "My sister's with her husband...she took a break and had to go inside the cafe...I was left with my brother-in-law" Hisashi's gaze never wavered, but it did seem to soften up a bit, which calmed the bassist nerves somehow. "How did you know I was talking about that?" Jiro returned Hisashi's peircing gaze with the same intensity, if not, greater. "Teru saw me...I saw him across the road." They continued to stare at each other for a few more seconds, each of them not saying anything, both are silent...nerveless and strong. Then:"Sorry the coffee got cold" Hisashi smiled at the bassist, his face now warm and welcoming as it was before Teru's call. Jiro let go of a silent relieved sigh, taking quick steps towards the guitarist, his whole body is shaking with joy and relief...he never felt so good in lying before. Never. Jiro wrapped Hisashi in a loose but warm embrace, he closed his eyes and whispered. "It's okay...I'm a bit tired anyway, can't we just go to sleep?" Hisashi nodded his head in approval, standing and linking his arm with that of the bassist, warmth radiating off his eyes and body. "You had a tiring day, you deserve a good rest." Jiro nudged Hisashi's arm with his own, a smiled formed onto his pouty lips. "Thanks." For believing me and for loving me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What's taking Jiro so long? Teru thought impatiently. He has been waiting for the bassist to come over for hours now, he readied himself to console the bassist from his fight. He fixed up the pad, cleaned up some of the mess and dusted the tables...he even went so far as to go outside and get some strawberries from the 24 hour market across the street, he took a bath and fixed hot tea so he'd be more or less presentable when the bassist came rushing to his arms. He practiced his lines. "I love you Jiro. There is no one who can love you like I do, forget about him...I'm here, I'll make you happy. I'll love you for as long as you'd like me to. I'd die for you Jiro." Teru chanted out the words once again, imagining Jiro's beautiful face in front of him...eyes reflecting the same intensity of love and trust as that of Teru's. But Jiro is not here is he? There's that voice again, invading Teru's quiet thoughts and momentary peacefulness. He took a puff out if his cigarette, his eyes dancing from the ceiling...to the floor...to the flowers carefully arranged in the center table...to the lamp...and finally to the phone. He blinked once before getting up and reaching
for the phone. He gave the moon a determined gaze before dialing Hisashi's
number, he waited for a ring, but nothing came only the authoritative
voice of a machine saying that Teru gritted his teeth, he knows what Hisashi
does whenever he disconnects the phone especially now that he's with Jiro...Teru
put his hand down but didn't let go of the phone. He closed his eyes,
seeing Jiro's face crumpled in pleasure...the bassist body rocking with
the rhythm of sex, his pelvis bucking up to to make contact...along with
the images came voices...sounds, Jiro's hitched breathing...another person's
moans and soft whispers...groaning aloud and whimpering...bodies quivering,
quaking, shaking...then a Jiro's pleasure-filled voice screaming a name...a
name Teru Teru's eyes snapped open, then he slammed the phone against the wall. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another hard push towards Hisashi's hips triggered Jiro's consciousness to explode into little white twinkles behind his eyes...his arms turned into slush and collapsed on top of Hisashi. Breathing deeply he gently rolled off the guitarist, his arms encircling the other man's waist and, burying his head in Hisashi's hair, breathed the sweet scent of the other man. Hisashi's hands crept up to hold his lover's hands, just above his waist...their breath mingling together perfectly. Soon after he was spent, Hisashi drifted off to the waiting arms of sleep. But Jiro didn't even close his eyes, they
remained open and unblinking, staring out the open window of the bedroom,
to the moon as his thoughts slowly came together. He looked at the stretch
of flesh before him, perfectly soft skin darker than his in comparison
but more beautiful...he slowly unraveled his hands below Hisashi's tight
grip and ran it along the I'm so lucky to have his beauty surround me, Jiro thought. A guise of a smile forming on his lips...he let out a long sigh before staring at the moon again. His gaze slowly became harder as he thought of one thing: Teru. A sudden pain shot through his heart, why did Teru tell Hisashi about that? He had a feeling that things are getting out of hand...he was so close to losing Hisashi a while ago. But can he really blame Teru for doing that? Jiro's the one who started this whole mess, granted it was Teru who made the first move but it was still Jiro's choice. He didn't know why he got together with Teru in the first place...he always used Hisashi's possesiveness as an excuse, used it as a reason to please himself, used it as a reason for selfishness. But now, Jiro's thoughts finally became clear. Cheating is wrong. Cheating is unfair. And he wants it to end. Tomorrow, everything will be over tomorrow...and with that Jiro's eyes closed...and into dreams his consciousness went. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Where are you? Leave me? Never. part 5 |
