A couple weeks later at rehearsal...

Teru trudged through the doorway of the studio, his sunnies in place and a jacket slung over his shoulder. It's been around two weeks now since Valentine's Day, the whole spy episode, and 'the incident', as Teru had tactfully dubbed it. Anyways, the singer threw his jacket onto the back of a chair and took off his shades, making his way to the recording room where Takuro sat dutifully, busy with editing the instrumentals for their new single. "Hey, Takuro."

". . ."

No response from the other. Teru made a face and turned around, walking out of the room.

Apparently, Takuro was still angry at him.

Teru sighed and desperately tried to explain about what happened that morningwhen the guitarist had woken up on a messy heap on his livingroom floor. Takuro had stormed out of his house and quickly driven away in his Toyota, not even taking a second glance back. The day after that, Teru called him on the phone and tried to explain again that it wasn't his fault that everything was so screwed up that night.

Yes, Takuro bluntly hung up in his face.

Teru wondered when his friend would finally forgive him and forget about 'the incident.' He shrugged, figuring that it would take a little longer for the whole thing to blow over with Takuro. That guy can be a very stubborn person when he wants to be, Teru thought as he scratched his head and looked around, seeing Hisashi and Jiro sitting together on the couch.

The two lovebirds were happily reclining on the cushions. Obviously, they'd already declared their feelings for each other.

Teru watched as Jiro sat next to Hisashi, trying to read a magazine, while the other had an arm around the bassist, whispering something inaudible in Jiro's ear and making him blush. Teru smiled warmly at the scene of his two friends and leaned against the wall, continuing to watch them with interest. Jiro then half-heartedly batted the guitarist away with his magazine, but Hisashi just snatched the weapon from him and playfully pecked Jiro on the cheek, throwing the magazine somewhere across the room. And that somewhere just happened to be in Teru's direction...

"Itai!!"

The magazine sailed over to Teru and bonked him upside the head, knocking the smile off his face. Jiro and Hisashi looked over to where the noise came from and found their vocalist sprawled all over floor with stars in his eyes. Their eyes shifted to the rolled up magazine that laid next to Teru.

"Uh-oh..." Jiro whispered and carefully reached out to retrieve his issue of B PASS. "I think I tore the cover!!" he whimpered and held it up to Hisashi to see. His lover sweatdropped and chuckled, bopping Jiro lightly on the head. Teru groaned, beginning to wake up. "Oohhh...so this is what Takuro felt like all those times he's fainted..." he gingerly rubbed his head and opened his eyes, finding himself looking up into Jiro and Hisashi's faces.

"Oi, Teru! Sorry about that; I didn't think that anyone else was in the room to be a target," Hisashi apologized then he and Jiro helped him up. "Well, you two were too busy flirting to even notice that I'd come in," Teru said to Hisashi, suggestively nudging him with an elbow and nodding towards Jiro.

Hisashi's face turned crimson and he sputtered out, "Urusai!!" He dragged Jiro back to the couch, not even waiting for Teru to join them.
"I'm just kidding, Hisa!" Teru laughed heartily and sat down next to Jiro. Hisashi pouted. "Sometimes I wonder why we even bothered to tell you and Takuro about us. I think you enjoy watching me and Jiro-chan too much..."

Teru's eyes crinkled up as he grinned. "But you two are so cute together!"Jiro rolled his eyes. "And to think that I was actually scared to tell you about our relationship."

"Yeah! Remember, our dinner didn't go as well as I'd planned. Isn't that right, koi?" Hisashi asked and drew Jiro closer to him for a hug. Jiro snuggled up to him and buried his face in Hisashi's hair. "It didn't matter to me, Hisa. I'll be fine, just as long as I'm with you..." And they cuddled some more, Teru -- on the other hand -- went completely still and a large anime sweatdrop began to form on his forehead. He carefully started edging away from the two, trying to quickly leave the room as soon as possible. He'd literally drop dead if they started mentioning the two 'waiters' at the restaurant.

"Gee, I wonder whatever happened to those two strange waiters we saw..."

Uh-oh. Too late. Hisashi's eyes locked onto Teru's own slightly terrified ones. His lips curled up into an amused, little smile and he continued as if nothing had happened. "You know, I remembered that they looked really familiar. Did we tell you about this yet, Teru?" Teru quickly nodded. "Yes! Yes! You did!" he smiled nervously.

"Really? Because I could have sworn that you haven't heard the --" "Yes, Hisashi!! I've heard the story!" Teru cut in and abruptly stood up,
trying to make excuses to go check up on Takuro. "Hold on!" Hisashi grabbed Teru's arm and pulled him back to the couch. "The really weird thing about the waiters was that one of them looked _exactly_ like _you_, Teru-kun!" A huge grin was plastered to Hisashi's face. "And the other one -- the one who fainted -- looked just like Takuro! Now, isn't that a coincidence? Teru? Teru? Where are you?"

Teru was slowly crawling away from Hisashi and Jiro and toward the refuge of the recording room. He'd almost made it to the door when two pairs of legs stepped in front of him.

"Teru, do you have something that _you_ and _Takuro_ want to confess to us?"

As if on cue, Takuro chose that exact moment to step out and take a break from work, finding himself amongst the company of his bandmates. "What about a confession?" he asked, but took one look at Teru and shrunk away in disgust from him. "I don't know..." Hisashi started, stepping up to Takuro. "You tell us."

Takuro was confused. "Hey, I just came out for a break. What are you going on about, Hisashi??"

"Cut the crap, you two!" Hisashi snapped and poked Takuro with a finger. "Now, I'm through trying to be tactful to get a confession, so I'm just going to force it out of you. Valentine's Day -- were you or were you not spying on me and Jiro that night?"

"What?!" exclaimed Takuro, who'd turned white as a sheet. //Damnit! He's interrogating me, isn't he?// "That's preposterous!"

Suddenly, from the floor, Teru broke down crying, clutching onto Jiro's leg. "Please!! Please, forgive us!! We didn't mean anything wrong by spying on you guys. We were just curious and we wanted to see who Hisashi's date was -- honest!!" He bawled on and on while Jiro tried shaking him off his leg.

"Argh!! Damn, Teru! You told! You're such a girl!" Takuro huffed. "Aha!" Hisashi jumped up triumphantly. "So, it _was_ you two! I knew my suspicions were correct!" he smiled smugly.

"We confess! We confess, ok?!" Teru sniffled and wiped his nose on Jiro's pant leg. "Ewww..." the bassist cringed. The chaos ensued for a few more minutes until someone finally decided to put a stop to it.

"Everyone, SHUT UP!!!" Hisashi screamed at the top of his lungs, shocking Jiro, Teru, and Takuro into silence. "Let's just sit down and talk about this please!" Everyone headed over to the couch on the other side of the room and sat down obediantly, scared that they were going to tick off Hisashi even more. "Ok," Hisashi said and adjusted himself comfortably on the cushions. "We'll start this thing at the beginning..."
