Hisashi stares at the falling leaves outside the studio’s window. It’s already winter. Not so many people walking down the street. In this cold, most people will choose to spend their time in homes, sitting near the fireplace or inside the kotatsu. But the so-called-workaholic-leader is still stubborn to have them rehearsal! Well, at least it’s warm in the studio.

Takuro give them a fifteen minutes break, so everybody’s gone to find some hot drink. Hisashi glares at his backpack and grabs it. He dugs and pulls out a blue notebook. He opens it and grins when he sees Ayu’s photograph sticked on the first page. Jiro took it when the bassist came to his house for the first time and the precious cat got along so well with him.

He takes his pencil. Thinking for a while then starts to write

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

There’s a land that I heard once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue

And the dream that you dare to dream really do come true

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

There’s where you’ll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly

Birds fly over the rainbow

Why then oh why can’t I

He stops and goes to the bathroom.

Jiro walks in to the studio, holding a cup of hot chocolate in his hand. He sips slowly as he shuts the door. No one is in the room. His eyes catch an opened book abandoned on the couch near the window. He walks closer and looks at it. He recognises Hisashi’s handwriting. He hesitates for a moment but then he takes it up and read.

He frowns. It’s the lyrics from Wizard of Oz’s original soundtrack. Why Hisashi write this?

He picks a pencil and writes down

The place where all of the troubles melt

The place where all of the hopes turn out into reality

Is in our hands

He grins and puts back the notebook right when the door clicks open.

Hisashi frowns as he sees the neat handwriting beyond his. He takes a glance to the owner who seems like drowning in his new song. Hisashi reads then smile. He props himself onto the couch and starts to write

Goodness in words creates confidence

Goodness in thinking creates wisdom

Goodness in giving creates love

He stuns at what he wrote. What in the world do he write the last line?

The blonde bassist gazes to across him. The slim figure sitting on the couch seems so fragile and peaceful. His hand moved slowly as he writes. His face looks so calm, and his beauty…his beauty is so…unspoken.

Hisashi stands and walks out the door, leaving his book opened on the couch. Jiro stares at it. He takes it and read. He can’t help but blushed when he tries to analyse Hisashi’s words.

He thinks for a while then write

When the stars shine above

I want to reach them

Embrace them in my arms

But I’m such a dreamer

Who just able to watch them shine

He quickly rushes to his place when the other three come in. Takuro sits in his place and starts the rehearsal.

The rehearsal is over and everybody release a big sigh. Takuro and Teru immediately rush to their car. Hisashi still sit on his chair and studying the figure across him. The bassist is busy with his equipment. His tempting mouth pouts when he finds some trouble with some wires.

He read Jiro’s words and smiles. He’s cute and he can’t help but feel caring for him. A very natural and soft feeling he ever has toward someone besides Ayu.

He writes down something.

Jiro sighs as he finally can get over the trouble with some wires. He clean up his things and set his favourite bass into its case. He raises his head as he feels someone stand in front of him. Hisashi stares at him softly.

“What?” he asks.

Hisashi smiles and hand him the notebook. Jiro frown and take it. He read

I am the star

You are the moon

We’re both are hanging on the endless sky

You give me light

I give you light

In the deepest night,

Our longing shines

He raises his head and stares at Hisashi thoughtfully.

“Hisashi, I…”

Hisashi leans forward and presses Jiro’s mouth with his. The blonde one stuns but soon drawn into the kiss. His hands go around Hisashi’s waist, pulls him closer, and kisses him back. Not enough of tasting their mouth, their tongues flicks to each other and deepened their kiss.
