Hisashi stared at the magazine in his hand gloomily. Printed on large fonts on one of the main articles was the headline of the break up of Luna Sea. It wasn't as if he hadn't heard of it earlier. Afterall, Glay and Luna Sea's members were pretty close, so they got the news first hand. But still, it was unsettling. Why in the hell an amazing band like Luna Sea had to break up? It wasn't that he thinks of Glay any less than Luna Sea - he knew he was damn proud of being part of the group - but he always had this admiration for Luna Sea. And now they broke up. He didn't see any sign of it. It was so sudden, the news of their break up, like a thunder in a clear, lazy day. Even now, he sometimes found himself can't really believe the fact that now Luna Sea was no more. But it wasn't as if the break up was unexpected. It was a bit expected, as everything would eventually come to an end. He stared at the big poster of Glay hung proudly on the wall across him. And someday, even Glay would come to an end. That was a scary thought. Even Hisashi had to admit it. To know that someday they had to go to their own path, that someday, the four guys from Hokodate would be no more. He stared at the poster across him, at Teru's sweet smile, at Takuro's sly smile, at Jiro's cute, cheeky grin. And someday, all of it would go out of his reach. He had never thought about it before. Had never thought that at the end, somewhere along the line of their lives, there would be a time when Glay would end. They had been too long together. Had been too damn long. It had been more than ten years. Ten years of hard work, of sweat, of laughter and sadness, of success and failure, and with all of that, with all that had happened in the long journey, they couldn't be broken up right? No, they couldn't be broken up. Glay would be forever. What a naïve thought it was. And no matter how much he wanted it to be real, that Glay would be forever, it wouldn't be real. Glay was not forever, and would never be, just like everything else in the world. Should he prepare for that time to come? When would it come actually? Would Takuro suddenly come in and said "Guys, it is over. From now on, there is no more Glay"? Or would it last for a couple more years? When they reached, say, fourty and couldn't perform really well anymore? He sighed and put the magazine aside, knocking a wallet off the table in process. Hisashi frowned and picked the fallen wallet. He recognized it as Jiro's. What a scatterbrain his little lover was. Little lover. Little Jiro. Strange. Jiro was the second tallest in Glay, after Takuro, but everyone, especially him, Teru and Takuro always called him little Jiro. Little Jiro, Jiro-chan. Jiro always pouted whenever someone called him that, but he never complained. A fond smile graced the blue-haired guitarist's handsome face as an image of a pouting Jiro came to his mind. He opened the wallet, and the first thing that caught his attention was a small picture of Glay tucked safely in the place to put picture in the wallet, along with another picture of him and Jiro together in the beach. He recalled that time was when they were taking picture for the video clip. Hisashi brushed his fingers lightly on the photograph, feeling sentimental suddenly. He didn't know that Jiro had those pictures in his wallet. One day, moments like this would only be a fading memory. When everything had gone with the journey of time, when there was no more Glay, no more Hisashi, Jiro, Teru and Takuro. Sad as it was, no matter how much he wanted to avoid it, the moment would eventually come. It would only be a matter of time. The door opened suddenly and Jiro's head popped in. "Hisa, d'ya see my " he then saw the wallet in Hisashi's hand and his eyes lighted up. "Ah! My wallet!" Hisashi tossed the wallet to Jiro. "You are always so careless with your things, Jiro" "Am not!" Jiro pouted. "Yes, you are, little Jiro," Hisashi smiled teasingly. Jiro sticked out his tounge. "By the way, why are you still here? Teru and Takuro are in the recording room already" Hisashi shook his head lightly. "Nah, just thinking. Hey, Jiro" "Yeah?" "I didn't know you put Glay and our pics in your wallet" "Ah this. I just feel like it. It kinda help me to remember your ugly face," Jiro grinned. Hisashi threw a small pillow to Jiro, which got him right on the head. "Baka " he muttered, but smiled anyway. Jiro shrugged. "Well, that's why you love me," he said casually, his eyes sparkling mischievously. Hisashi laughed at the reply. "You wish, Jiro-chan" "Well that's true. But anyway, let's go. I don't want to have Takuro barking at me again" Hisashi raised an eyebrow. "Barking ?" Jiro rolled his eyes playfully. "Well, you *know* So, c'mon!" Hisashi pushed himself off the sofa and walked with Jiro towards the recording room. When there was no more Glay, Hisashi knew that he would surely miss this, walking to the studio, teasing and bantering with Jiro and Teru, the fans, the staff, the concert everything. But he also knew that there was a thing that would always bring him back to these days. The memories. The photograph. The pics in Jiro's wallet that told him, that made him realize that he didn't had to worry when Glay ended one day. Because when everything had gone, someday, when the fans who always cheered and screamed histerically over his presence didn't acknowledge him anymore, when the staff who had always worked with him together forgot him, when his presence had ceased to exist in the memories of people there would always be a way to go back here. He knew that one day, eventhough Glay didn't exist anymore, when he recalled his memories of these days, and when he look through the pile of the photographs that would always remind him of his glorious days, he knew that there would always be Glay. He saw Jiro pushing the door open and he followed, stepping into the recording room. Takuro stared at them. "Took you guys long enough to get here" Teru grinned, his eyes sparkling. "What were you doing back there? Busy making out?"" Jiro blushed a little. "We didn't! Well, even if we did, we wouldn't save you any of the show," he said which was followed with Teru's hearty laugh. Hisashi shook his head and smiled a little. Things would never change, and somehow, that knowledge comforted him. There would always be Glay. If not in the real world, it would always be in his heart. ~Owari^^~
