Three Important ideas from this section that I most want to remember.
1. I want to remember the Right Speech Experiment.. When I did the Right Speech Experiment it made me question myself. Am I not a generous person? Am I a good friend? Do I not trust others? I have learned alot about myself and that I lie to protect myself and thats why the Right Speech Experiment is important to me.
2. The video "Truth about Lies" was a very important part of this section because it reenforced what I learned from the Right Speech Experiment. I learned that I lie to protect myself, but I realized from this video that lots of people do it. People do this at a lot larger risk than I do. Men and Women died from the Challenger disaster and it could have been prevented, but after it was not prevented the people that could have stopped it lied so they would not get in trouble.

3. What George Carlin says about Euphimisms really jumped out at me. He say as humans, we, "Have an incredible ability to bullshit ourselves." I realize that this is so true. I know now that we do deceive ourselves. This deceiving of ourselves in a major part of our own shortcomings. The sad part is that we need someone else, like George Carlin, to point it out to us because we deceive ourselves so much that we do not even see it anymore.
These important ideas all help us summarize the key idea of this section.
The Human Condition is something we are all born into. We cannot escape it, but we can realize that it is a part of all of us. We are born in the cave but if we realize that we are in darkness, then we can get out. But we must realize that as humans we have many things wrong with us, in order for us to save ourselves.

This is a painting that reminds me of the human condition. At first glance it looks like a view of outside through a window. If you look close enough you can realize that what you see is actually a picture of a window on an easel.
