Tonight was the big December Stars reunion show. Since the boys in the band are in my fraternity, I opened up. For the first time ever, I played an advertised show. I was quite nervous and many many people attended the event. I opened my set with "Dig Dug" and my friend Storlstofferson (the guy who wrote it) sat right in my line of sight. I was even more nervous. (He later told me he approved.)
I dedicated "Seldom the Optimist" to Alyssa tonight. She knows why.
It went very well and I made a good chunk of money to help pay for my trip to UMT. It broke the ice for me and I think playing shows will be easier for me from here on out. I'm slated to play tomorrow night at the big 'End of the Year Party' at the RRCH. I hope it pans out.
Special thanks go out to Tony and Sharon Jones. They know why.
