Set: Details: It's never too amazing to play to an empty house, but we made the most of it. Outdoor shows are always fun so that made up for it a bit. I also got a chance to try out some of my new, unreleased material. It seemed to go over well and it was a good warm-up for Saturday night at the Red Rooster. I started to play "Horrid Little Man" today, but abandoned it due to forgetting how to play it. Yikes. I played "The Popsicle Song" (I'm Not Feeling Well Today) especially for Bonny today. And she so kindly said that it totally made her day, and THAT makes me happy. Also, this was the second show of mine that Liza has ever attended and I was glad to have her there. I hadn't played a show for eight months before today. But I feel like I just jumped right into it. It felt good. Also performing were Julia Wick on accordian and Altman Studani on ukelele. |
