| I Dare You By Denise Vignola |

| "I dare you to do it" Is something I know I've heard it from friend And I've heard it from foe "I dare you to do it" Is simply a dare And one I ignore As if I don't care "I dare you to touch it!" Well who can resist A puddle of mud That goes up to your wrist "I dare you to eat it!" Who can say no When asked to eat ants Or bugs that glow "I dare you to go In that hole over there!" And if I say no I suppose I'm a square Dares can be silly Dares can be fun But don't try to fool me I won't be the one I won't be the one To fall for your scheme I'll just say "You do it!" And smile, serene |
