Newsletters are a great way for teachers to let parents know what will be happening in class for the next week. They will help parents to prompt their children to talk about school happenings. Some children have trouble doing this on their own. They can also be used for those children who need some pre-tutoring to stay on task during group lessons (those who need prior knowledge/interest to keep up).
