Slash: A term, among others, used to describe fanart/fanfics that depict same-sex relationships. In the case of this series, I've most typically seen male-male slash. Personally, I think that slash art can be quite lovely, though at times graphic (though I have seen graphic ones that are really quite tasteful). I don't really believe that an actual slash relationship exists in this series, although I have seen some good explanations behind behavior that didn't utterly warp the characters out to oblivion. I will clearly label all slash art/fics ot those of you who, a) are too narrowminded to see that same-sex relationships are just as loving as heterosexual ones, b) don't like the idea of characters having relationships outside those we can quite obviously see, c) dislike slash for any other reason. |
