Chapter 5


Fred and Syaoran made their way to the abandoned shack where Sakura and Jack Page now were.

SKIP FORWARD ABOUT AN HOUR IN TIME: THEY ARE NOW AT THE SHACK. OKAY? GREAT.

"'Kay, here's the plan: I'll go create a diversion and you get your girlfriend." Syaoran blushed a deep (and I mean DEEP) crimson.

"She's not my girlfriend," he reminded Fred. The hoboman just shrugged.

"Whatever."

"Syaoran-kun!" gasped an astonished Sakura. There, standing in the wide open door, was Li Syaoran. The young card mistress had thought she sensed a pleasant prescence nearby...

Instead of grabbing Sakura and just leaving like they had originally intended, Syaoran turned to face Jack Page.

"You slime! How dare you hurt my Sakura!" With that, he charged at Jack.

"Yo! Syaoran! What ya doin'?!" yelled Fred as he untied Sakura. Syaoran ignored Fred and continued to clash swords with Jack.

Jack Page managed to knock Syaoran's sword away and was slowly moving in for the kill.

'Syaoran...Use the schwartz...' said a voice inside Syaoran's head.

"I can't!" he cried. "I lost my sword!"

'The sword was just an item,' the voice told him. 'The schwartz is in you.'

"All right. I'll try." Syaoran focused on Jack Page and slowly managed to lift Jack's blue wig right off his head. Syaoran gasped. Jack Page was really his father's brother's cousin's doctor! Syaoran then used the schwartz to return his sword to his hand and charged it right through Jack Page's chest. Blood began pouring out as Jack gaped and struggled for breath.

"You...you little...worm..." With that, Jack Page pulled Syaoran's sword out of his chest and healed his wound.

"NANI?!" exclaimed Syaoran.

"This dude has got some serious anti-death issues!" pointed out Fred Hobodude.

"NO!" yelled Sakura. "Syaoran-kun, look out!" Syaoran looked up just in time to see Jack's sword coming down toward him. Suddenly, a white light flared and everyone paused to look over to where Sakura was standing. Her emerald eyes were glowing white as well as her entire being. Her clothing had changed into a beautiful white gown and a golden crescent moon appeared on her forehead. As she stopped glowing, though, a crystal appeared before her above her open hands.

"The Power Crystal!" said Jack. Sakura turned her gaze to him.

"Wrong. This is the Moon Crystal." Everyone gave her confused looks as she said this. "The Power Crystal is on Syaoran-ouji." Syaoran's eyes widened at this.

"W-what do you mean? What's going on?" he asked. Sakura smiled gently at him. She then proceeded to tell all of them about the Moon Kingdom and yadda yadda yadda. (author: Watch Sailor Moon from the beginning if you're confused!) She also explained that inside of Syaoran's yin-yang pendant was the Power Crystal as well as an excellent M&M cookie recipe.

"ENOUGH OF THIS! I WANT THAT CRYSTAL AND SOME COOKIES!" With that impatient statement, Jack Page rushed at Syaoran with his sword.

"SYAORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!"

"A ray of light shines down giving us hope. A heart cries out for us to never give up. The sun is still shining, as is the moon. A bond between us, you'll find me soon! A ray of light! A ray of hope! Love so strong it can't be broke! The birds still sing! The wind still blows! This my heart sings: A ray of light, giving us hope! This our hearts sing: A ray of light, giving us love and HOPE!"
 "I'll be safe in your arms. We'll be together soon. This love of ours will never be gone. The stars are still twinking, the birds sing their songs. A love between us, I'll find you soon! A ray of light! A ray of hope! Bond so strong, it can't be broke! The children still sing! The rivers still flow! This my heart sings: A ray of light, giving us hope! This our hearts sing: A ray of light, giving us love and HOPE!"
